What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing my cup of tea then going to get dressed.

The girls are off to town for a Mother's Day gift with their dad so I have a few hours to myself. I plan to nip to Asda to see if they have the unicorn Smarties Easter egg in stock (never thought to buy it when dd2 saw it & she keeps mentioning it), iron school shirts and make a banana loaf.

Roast chicken for tea later on then some reading with dd2.

What about you lot? Anyone up to anything exciting?

Cleaned all the bathrooms. Walked the 2 dogs (who were behaving like utter dickheads!) Made a double batch of cheese scones and just about to sit down and finish sewing the Roman blind for the living room window. Been a very productive day so far x

DH has gone to London for the day so won't be back until DC are in bed. We have been to Tesco for some bits, had lunch and I've stripped our bed and tidied up a bit. DS1 has done his homework and is now watching TV. DS2 is having a nap but will be waking up shortly so once he's up I'll do some ironing and if I've got time I'll clean the bathroom. DS1 has a swimming lesson later and then I'll do their dinner when we get home. I'll eat later with DH when he's home. This evening we will watch a couple of episode of The Originals on Netflix and I'll paint my nails. There will also be wine as I'm not looking forward to next week at work. It will be busy so I'm trying not to think about it!

I should be out enjoying the sunshine but I get so little time in the house when DH isn't here that I'm enjoying being indoors and MNg and drinking tea pottering

Youngest DD is away on an activity weekend with school so i’m bouncing between missing her terribly and enjoying the peace.

I’ve spent the morning in my cat pens with the foster cats, lots of cuddles, games, chats and kisses. It was a super busy cat day yesterday with re-homes, cleaning and new arrivals so cuddles were sadly rather thin on the ground.

I’ve just made a limoncello cake (well three actually as my tins were smaller than the vast one on the American website) and have sat in the sun with a cuppa an a slice of just slightly warm cake with a dog at my feet enjoying the birdsong.

DH is training later so I have the tv to myself for once,

DD is home tomorrow and I have the day off for a hospital appmt and lunch with DH as he’s coming with me for moral support. No Sunday evening blues for us today. 😊

Had a wonderful 2 hour walk with DH and dogs in the countryside. Pottered indoors and tidied garden. Listened enthralled to DDs (22) escapades at a party last night. The professionals she works with really let their hair down! Made a Shepherds Pie for later. Now going to nap for an hour or two before my night shift. Loving the sunshine!

I took part in a 5K race this morning, which was probably a stupid idea with my current chest infection!
Then I had a drum lesson this afternoon where I started work on my next grade book. Will be heading to my mum's in a little while for a Sunday lunch, them home to crash out on the sofa to catch up on Homeland, whilst the bf is at his Christmas Party. I've had a thoroughly lovely day 😀

Got up early, took DD’s for a sneaky McDonalds breakfast. Drove from Twickenham to Cambridge for their karate squad training. Now 4 hours and 40 minutes in.

Left DH and DS at home, so hoping to get home to roast pork

Breakfast, helped DD with homework, long walk by the sea with DS , DH joined us for lunch, butchers.heading home now to cook for MIL and clean up. House is a mess😕

We've washed the cars & thoroughly cleaned them inside too, tidied up the living room and playroom.
Had a random lunch of leftover roasties and veg from yesterday with leftover chopped up ham. Ate leftover apple pie for afters.
Ran some errands.
Now I'm at work.

Beautiful day today! Went for a walk and picnic in local NT park. Stopped off at furniture shop on the way home to order some new bedroom drawers. Oversaw homework then took myself for a swim. Did chores back at home and going to have tea in a while.

My DC are 12 and 9 and although currently still content to come along for a countryside wander with us, I can feel the years fast slipping by :(

Lingered over morning coffee, then ran some errands. DH is pressure washing the back porch and making an almighty noise, hope the neighbors are not trying to catch an afternoon nap. When he finishes, we are going to take DDog to the dog park, then an early dinner: chicken quesadillas with fresh pineapple.

It's Monday morning here ... have watered out the back, really wish the weather would hurry up and cool down. Sick of days still in the 30's. The robot is doing it's thing. I have stripped two beds , sheets all washed and hanging in the sun. Towels are washing now. Need to do a food shop later. Think I need a nap :)

My little boy has come down with a bug, both ends, lucky me! So a day off work looking after him, so in a few hours I will have lost my mind from watching Ben and Holly.

Been into town.
Got my hair cut.
Came home,workmen been and replaced a fence panel that had rotted.
Had my 2nd cup of tea.
Now thinking about going to Asda but tempted to have another cup of tea.

DD is ill, high fever and achy legs, so I'm being nursemaid today while trying to keep DS away from her (he will keep trying to poke her face with his toys)
