Asda was due to arrive at 12. It came at 11:45. Had to answer the door dripping wet in a dressing gown!

What's irritating you today?

I met my daughter off her flight as an unaccompanied minor and then we had to wait 5 hours for our flight to the beach.

OhamIreally · 24/03/2019 16:15

I'm stressing that I should take DD to the park instead of lying on the sofa whilst she plays (happily) in her room.

The cats keep trying to join me in the hot tub. I know hot tubs are sex swamps but I love mine, and would like to enjoy it without having to chase the little blighters our every two minutes.

WarpedGalaxy I feel your AirPod first world distress. I had to replace my old ones last summer because the batteries would no longer charge. They are still in good shape, but I got the new ones because I thought they might be in short supply when the old ones aged out. And because I just wanted them. Grin

I am something of an Apple fan girl, so I knew they were going to be announced around this time. I thought about getting the black ones but knew I would never be able to find them in the bottom of my bag.

I'm taking eldest dd to see Panic at the Disco tonight...except that I forgot until about an hour ago so now it's turned into a mad rush, geting tea ready for the other dc and getting ready ourselves.

I'd planned a lazy Sunday afternoon whilst a roast dinner cooked itself [huff]

Struggling round supermarket with elderly mother who has dementia and asd child who was having a laughing fit.

ASauvignonADay · 24/03/2019 17:45

Ate too much chocolate orange then was too full to eat tea

A ripped too short a piece of foil to bake my salmon in, I couldn't cover the asparagus so had to rip another piece. Ugh.

marcopront · 25/03/2019 09:47

Got to the beach and the pool while lovely is too short and shallow to do laps.

In-laws flight is delayed so they may not get back from their cruise today. I found out I'm pregnant the day after they left, I'm 12 weeks today and we were planning to tell them this evening after we meet them at the airport and take them home. I've been waiting 8 weeks for this and I was so excited, now it might not be happening until tomorrow Sad I know it's only one more day but I will actually burst from sheer impatience if DH can't tell them about their first grandchild soon

The lip balm that I have happily been using for years has had a formula change, the new formula makes my lips sore. Now I have to hunt down a new brand to try.

I forgot to bring fresh milk to work today so I'm drinking 2 week old Oatly. It's got a rather slight aftertaste but I was too desperate for a cup of tea. Sad times.

mimibunz · 25/03/2019 12:39

Car parking at work 😒

BollocksToBrexit · 25/03/2019 12:43

I've booked DS's birthday party. The venue says max 20. There's 24 in the class. So I've invited them in the hope that 4 can't come. Now I'm stressed because they're all going to accept aren't they? A rod for my own back!

HalfSiblingsMadeContact · 25/03/2019 13:19

Last week discovered it wasn't quite too late to investigate moving my eldest for 6th form. Liked what she saw on a look around, but after the weekend is oscillating back to staying put. Choice between remaining at a non-selective school where they try to look after their academic top end, or switching to a highly selective school where I suspect she might find a larger peer group. Part of the current problem is going to be the sheer relentless tedium of GCSE revision, but I'm just not sure which changes we should make to ensure she can be happy and motivated in the next two years!

We've really only got till about tomorrow lunchtime to make decisions about going for an interview.

Giggorata · 25/03/2019 13:58

My black ruffle dress is covered with white cat hair.
And I haven't got enough clothes hangers for everything I've washed in a fit of spring fever.

megletthesecond · 25/03/2019 14:01

I'm think of buying a fancy smart lightbulb for DD's room but I have no idea how to set it up. And these things are NEVER as simple as they want you to believe.

mycatisfatter · 25/03/2019 14:07

I went with a colleague to order takeaway lunch at a deli. I asked for tuna mayo on white. He asked for egg mayo on brown. We then walked back to our office. I ended up with plain tuna on brown. He ended up with egg mayo on white. My colleague suggested that we swap. I hate brown bread but I dislike egg mayo more. So I ate the brown bread tuna sandwich because I was bloody starving and couldn't be bothered to go back into the shop.

GummyGoddess · 25/03/2019 14:12

I haven't got time to clean between the driveway stones and there are weeds in the cracks.

AdvancedAvoider · 25/03/2019 14:41

I bought a new instapot thingy without considering where it would go. Despite having many kitchen cupboards, I've filled them with 'essential stuff' Hmm

greenpop21 · 25/03/2019 20:18

I left a big avocado to ripen and took to work for lunch only to cut it open and it's all black inside.

CherryCheezcake · 25/03/2019 20:23

I've had my hot water cylinder replaced today. It needed doing and the new one will be much better but my anxiety is through the roof that it will explode when it heats up overnight or all the new pipe joints will burst and flood the flat downstairs

FusionChefGeoff · 25/03/2019 20:30

Not me but DD(4)

"Mummy..... (massive sad face - whilst sat on a wall by the beach in glorious sunshine) ..... my Rocky Road ice cream is too chocolatey"

Betty777 · 25/03/2019 20:49

When Sainsbury's delivered my groceries this evening they had substituted my lysianthus with crappy ugly agapanthus, and in an ugly colour too.

I would have refused the substitution but I wasn't back from work yet, so my after school nanny signed for them and had accepted the delivery

I am such an arse, my grandmother must be turning in her grave!
