Asda was due to arrive at 12. It came at 11:45. Had to answer the door dripping wet in a dressing gown!

What's irritating you today?

I'm planning my parents 50th anniversary party (it's a surprise), and I'm stressed out over the guest list. I'm having a private dinner at a beautiful estate house and it's very expensive, therefore I need to keep the number of guests at a certain level. A have a large family and my parents have a huge number of friends so it's proving to be very, very difficult. I'm worried about hurting people's feelings.

MaMisled · 21/03/2019 18:04

I can't change the colour of the text bubbles in messaging of the fancy £500 phone DH just bought me! Gutted.

Frouby · 21/03/2019 18:08

I am waiting for a man to come and measure up for blinds for me. Had 1 this morning but he was waaaaaaaayy more expensive than what I was expecting. Now am worried this one will be too expensive as well, which will mean me and dh have to measure and fit blinds which will end in an arguement.

Dh is a builder. He builds windows. But is stressed about fitting roller blinds. Because I am a twat and want everything absolutely perfect. Fml.

DD has a big gymnastics competition on Sunday and I'm nervous for her because I really want her to win a medal. I don't care if that makes me sound OTT but she would be over the moon and make her so happy. Gymnastics is such a nerve wrecking sport to spectate because it's so individual. I've been angsty all week and I think this is the reason why.

RoseMartha · 21/03/2019 21:41

Rude children who are mine! 😡

ConstanceAggyboobs · 21/03/2019 21:46

You can't buy Nando's mango and herb sauce in a bottle 😡

Brigante9 · 21/03/2019 21:46

I ordered a lovely pair of trousers from Pretty Little Thing. Got home and opened the package. It contains over the knee 3 inch stiletto suede boots. Having just fallen over at the yard, I am not amused.

Skittlesandbeer · 21/03/2019 22:24

I can’t put it off any longer. Got to fish all the pool toys out, dry them, deflate them and pack them away for the year. Only thing more annoying than inflating a giant flamingo is squashing it flat again. And no one ever wants to help, because they’re too sad that swimming weather has packed its bags and hopped a plane to the northern hemisphere Angry

So, boring 1st world job, and I’m getting blamed for ending summer.

Harveyrabbit76 · 21/03/2019 23:13

Annoyed that the fairy lights round the fireplace seem to be dimming and i have only had them a year or so. Surely they should last longer than that?!

Mucky1 · 21/03/2019 23:25

I bought a new handheld hoover for work that after 20 mins use I dropped and broke it Sad brought it home for hubby to fix (bodge) and at some point from work to the car Iv lost the bit that broke off!!

ProfessorofPerspective · 22/03/2019 00:04

My dog follows me around the house, coughing loudly.

He's on medication but doesn't seem to be improving much at the moment.

He particularly likes to lie under the bed, directly under my head, for maximum impact. 5am is his favourite time to really get going.

Lochnessgiraffe · 22/03/2019 00:23

I managed to get my thumb crushed by my mum's car door in Xmas. Now after much bruising. I have realised that about 0.5cm of my nail up from the bed is split /broken. It half way across the nail. It cannot rip. That's a hospital appointment. So after a couple of weeks I've now done nail glue. Argh I hope it works

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 22/03/2019 00:25

I'm changing gym and I have to change the pool length setting on my fitbit

Stroller15 · 22/03/2019 00:33

I dropped the salt grinder today and had to clean that up and on top of that, crush the rock salt with my fingers for the pasta.

Aldilogue · 22/03/2019 02:09

I have to go to the shop to buy more moisture absorbers because the weather is beautiful and humid and I can leave the windows open at night. Poor me.

dellacucina · 22/03/2019 02:24

@KatyaZamolodchikova this sounds like it should be on a listicle of English problems! Wink

KatyaZamolodchikova · 22/03/2019 07:25

Haha, it is a very British problem. Resolved now though as the financial advisor didn’t drink tea anyway so I made him a naice coffee from the machine. Phew. Today I will buy teabags while I’m out anyway.

yearinyearout · 22/03/2019 07:27

Haven't bought enough mini carrot decorations to go on top of my cupcakes so have to go back to Tesco 🙄

Hyacintharehighersincelasttime · 22/03/2019 08:14

my vapes are not working, new one arriving today, I can get through it

and not enough bananas, who should have the one remaining banana, me or ds?

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 22/03/2019 13:32

Not just today, but having to keep switching Classic FM off because of the news every five minutes (or seems like it) with the sodding wretched bloody B word non stop.

MissConductUS · 22/03/2019 14:40

We just got the results for my DD's SAT (American standardized colllege admissions test) and she did so brilliantly that we'll have to start visiting a higher class of uni's for her to apply to.

tierraJ · 22/03/2019 14:41

My M&S clingfilm was too sticky & is actually crap.

So I bought Tesco cling film & it's much better.

FullOnMonet1980 · 22/03/2019 14:45

My bag of Malteser bunnies only contained 5 ... for the cost I expected a few more Angry

AdamNichol · 22/03/2019 16:00

On my morning commute, my right earphone packed up; leaving me with sound only in the left....which makes my left ear itch after a while.

weekendsleep · 22/03/2019 16:07

Getting a McDonald's drive thru (rare!) but when they ask you to pull up and wait for your food.😟

Ariana Grande playing every 5 mins on the radio.

Crappy pop songs with no actual instruments in them/entirely made in a studio with a load of buttons.

Self checkouts but people will massive trolleys and 50 kids using them too and causing a queue.
