My older kid is going through a very (annoying) picky-eater stage!

Need some inspiration. Sick of making pasta! Also think DC eat it too much of it Blush

What are you all making for dinner?

Especially interested in what the vegetarians among you are making! (Picky eater doesn’t really like meat / fish.)

We've had gnocchi tonight. I made a sauce that was basically a shedload of diced & grated veg, garlic, tomatoes and I chucked a few leftover slices of bacon in it too. I grated cheese over the top.

Reheated but homemade butter chicken & rice. I made it yesterday and had left overs. Ex turned up the other day hopeful of me feeding him (a different batch)!! DS had been raving about it to his dad. It takes a while to make so is not a quick meal to throw together though.

Highly recommend the Gruffalo cookbook for fussy eating small people, my little one loves making stuff from it!

DC have had grilled salmon with potato wedges tonight, choice of beans or sweet corn.
Mini pitta, hummus and crudités tomorrow as it’s tea on the go between activities.
Pasta on Wednesday, probably with tomato and courgette sauce.
Pork and mash and veg (broccoli and peas) in Thursday.
Fish finger wraps on Friday.
Jacket potatoes on Saturday and roast chicken with all the trimmings on Sunday!

Burritos here tonight - veggie and the kids love it! We build our own so they can leave out the bits they don't want!

Veggie chilli (with virtually no heat, just flavour) is a hit, especially served with nachos.
Puff pastry tarts, pastry covered with either tomato purée/pesto and veg, topped with mozzarella and baked.
Lentil bolognese with French bread
Mixed bean casserole with French bread.

Potato & Spinach Bake... served with Salmon for the meat eaters.

It's one of my pre cook dinners that I prepare the night before.

Anniehm how do you make your veg curries?
I also have a fussy eater who would happily live off cheese toastie, macaroni cheese, pizza, pasta bake and chicken nuggets with curly fries.

Tonight oh and dd had sausage casserole, we had chicken nuggets with beans and I had beans on toast, I'm fed up of making 3/4 meals a day I'm veggie ds is fussy dd is not keen on veg she will eat mushrooms and broccoli, oh will eat anything as long as it's not veggie.

Dinner today was chicken curry (sauce made with lots of hidden vegetables) served with rice and naan. We were meant to have Bombay sweet potato on the side but DH forgot to make it.
