I’ve just read the answer and am gobsmacked - he’s just become a dad, too.

Oh is he having a baby.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 03/03/2019 17:33

I knew he was 69 because him, Bruce Springsteen and my mum were all born within a few weeks of each other.
I think he looks his age now my mum is ageing better actually.

Savoury99 · 03/03/2019 23:04

69. Bloody ridiculous and selfish to become a father at that age. Poor kid. Money won't help if he dies in 5 years or has to go into a care home

If the child is healthy though they are not going to wish they had not been born. Yes they might feel sad about their Father not being there till they are older themselves but they will have a comfortable life. I was born as a surprise to young parents and in their perfect world I wouldn't have been conceived. I am grateful I had a life.

I just think Richard Gere's wife is younger than him. They have lots of money. So the child is hardly going to have a shit start in life.

Mind you, didn't Jagger just have another one?

He was gorgeous in his younger days. An Officer and A Gentleman, Pretty Woman, I salivated over him for years.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 04/03/2019 07:21

Happilyacceptingcookies · 04/03/2019 07:23

My Dad died at 81 when his youngest son was only 28. My brother's grief over his death has been far worse than the rest of the siblings because he felt he didn't get enough time with his Dad in his lifetime. He seems to be really quite damaged by it. My Dad was 53 when he had him and I think that's too old ...

AliceAforethought · 04/03/2019 07:58

I'd have guessed around 70. Yes, he's aged, but looks OK. Interesting that he's the same age as Bruce Springsteen.

Phantology · 04/03/2019 15:23

I'm not really a fan of men becoming fathers in their twilight years but 28 is hardly a very young age to lose a parent is it? I know it's never easy to lose a much loved parent but 28 is well into adulthood and many people have lost a parent by then I'd have thought.
