I have a quick question which I'm afraid I have been unable to find the answer to on the website

Do burgers come with fries or do you have to pay extra??

I don’t think the food is bad. It’s not really in to totally change the sense of it.

I used to quite like F&B food wasn’t awful and there was something all the dc would eat but it really has gone downhill a bit. Prices gone up portions are terrible. BUT the dc still love it and if you are going for a birthday tell them they will play/sing happy birthday. Ds2 is 8 and he loves clapping and singing along to stevie Wonder when we are in and it’s someones birthday.

I went yesterday it was quite nice and a good vegan selection and kids menu is good and cheap

Used to think it was ok, but went recently and was shocked how bad it was (food and service)

The noise is ear shattering, and that's before they play Happy Birthday.

I like it there, chips are nice and I love their pizzas, over priced though but not bad with an offer.

It’s one of those chains that serve pre made, frozen food that gets microwaved and left down to your table, they’ve got a cheek expecting anyone to pay a fiver for that!

I worked there full time for a year over 10 years ago, and I still occasionally find myself singing a 50’s hit!

Personally I love frankie and Bennys , its my favourite place to eat out for a meal. Its usually saved as a treat as it is quite pricey.

I Think it depends on where you go. We went to one that wasnt our usual branch and i found the food awful, didnt even finish our meal . Didnt return to that one again.

Have been back to our usual branch many times over the years and took our nephew there last year for a birthday meal which he really enjoyed.

They will sing happy Birthday and if you buy a birthday cake and sneak it to them they will bring it out lit and sing when you tell them to.

If you sign up to their birthday newsletter and put in a birthday they will email with offers for around those dates.

There is currently a few deals on Wowcher, living social and similar for frankie and bennys.

As pp mention they are like a 50s diner and play 1950s music i always enjoy the atmosphere

The breakfasts are ok but the main menu food is awful. Both times we went it was the kids food that was the worst of the bunch and had to be sent back as pretty over cooked and inedible.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Frozen food that’s been reheated. I ordered a Caesar salad for lunch and it was brown, soggy, limp lettuce. They should’ve been embarrassed serving it. My friend’s pasta was cold.

I liked it about 15 yrs ago. Now I wouldn’t set foot in my local one if it was free.

But to answer your question, yes fries (probably cold) come with the burgers!

Used to love F&Bs but they're not what the used to be unfortunately.

I think the food is terrible too. I've only ever eaten in one when forced e.g. at an airport or another location with limited choices. Way too expensive for very poor quality meals.

Love F&B's. Love the burgers&fries and the pizzas although the pizzas aren't the type my kids & their friends like.They are nothing like Pizza hut style pizzas. They very thin and more traditional. My kids say they are hard!

We like it and have never had bad food at all. It is expensive but we get the groupon offers which makes it worthwhile.
Service is usually slow but staff have always been polite.

Went once as friend's kids wanted to go. Disgusting frozen/reheated cheap nasty food, ear meltingly loud music and the service was slow and disinterested. Forgot our drinks twice!
Never again.
One of the worst of the chains, I keep expecting to hear they've gone bust.

I stopped going because the service was so slow. First they didnt seem interested in taking the order and then when they eventually did we'd almost run out of time to eat it by the time the food came out (and we'd allowed an hour and a half for lunch) I think we had to scoff it down in 10 minutes and refuse pudding much to the DC's disappointment then they took so long to bring the bill we were late anyway.

The food isn't too dreadful but I went there perhaps half a dozen times to various branches and the service was so diabolical I just gave up.

Honestly frankie and bennies is the worst restaurant I've ever been to in the U.K. I don't say that lightly! The burger buns tasted like cardboard and they even managed to make chips taste bad which I didn't know was posssible

It probably depends which one you go to tbh. The one near us is REVOLTING. It smelt discussing, the service was dire and the food was horrible. Never again. It was SO disgusting I’ve not tried another one.

Many others have said the same about various ones.

I’d go elsewhere.
