I'm really wanting some recommendations for some good alternative music please. I

What genre are you into?
There loads of hidden or unexposed artists in all styles of music.

I'm going to listen to all your suggestions. its amazing how there's some great music out there but as you say hidden. I dont want to make excuses for myself but I wasn't really ever the type to buy loads of music I'm just at the age of 52 discovering what I really like to listen to and its great ! I listen to radio six and also have used Spotify and the app gnoosic I think that's how its spelt and you put in your three favourite bands and it comes up with music you may like and its fab !!

The radio function on Spotify is a great way to discover new music based on what you already like.

I've recently discovered a young Norwegian singer called Aurora. She's absolutely amazing, very quirky with an ethereal quality. Good voice, great songs.

Skinny Lister - Wanted for a more rock sound. Colours - more chilled, joint male and female vocal which I love. Cathy - my personal favourite!
