Would you recommend a career in the Law?

DD is very interested in becoming a city lawyer... think she has her eyes on all the glitz n glamour and not the reality. If you are a city lawyer, or a lawyer in general. Would you do it again if you were 21 again?

I love being a lawyer. It's more interesting and rewarding than I could ever have imagined.

I think it's not worth doing unless you are genuinely a law nerd. Have your daughter take a few law seminars to see how she feels about the subject. It's way too tedious and time-consuming to do it just for the money.

I earn an okay salary but it's a good quality of life. A friend of mine recently was like, 'Ugh, you're always working!' but researching case law or prepping for an upcoming hearing is genuinely my idea of fun. If I didn't feel that way I'd never last.
