I have breakfast at 8am
Lunch at 1pm
Dinner at 7pm

At 9pm I often have yogurt, fruit and some chocolate...

Is this pudding or supper?

To me pudding is straight after dinner and it's something substantial. Supper is more like something hot & comforting, so like porridge or fruit toast or something (like my DDs have.)

I'd call your meal a snack.

A snack. But I’d never ever ever use the word supper. I don’t think I’ve ever said it out loud.

Supper is our main evening meal. I don’t get why this is considered pretentious, it is just the word I grew up with and I see no need to change it. It reflects a casual meal with immediate family. Dinner is a more formal meal with guests, getting the ‘posh’ plates out, three or more courses type of meal.

Either way, I don’t eat again later in the evening, but that may be because we don’t get in from school/work until 6/6.30 so we don’t eat until 7 or later. So I don’t have a specific word for another later meal, but would err towards snack if I had to think of one.

We have our pudding/dessert an hour or two after dinner.... I couldnt eat it straight after.

I always think of supper as a late night thing, eg after the theatre. Dinner is between 6-8 ish.

I have a terrible snacking habit after dinner, which is why I'm over my BMI. I'd love to know how to psych myself out of it too.

My current habit is to indulge it, but with lower calories things such as fruit and yogurt. Trouble is, you can eat a lot of that. Or more things afterwards.
