Ta daaaa. Not sure quite what else to say. Other than, there's a peacock.

Haha brilliant. It's actually just up the road from me!

systemwwr · 05/02/2019 23:14

Wow, that's a lot of dead animals in one house.

I wonder what they'll do with their next property.

GreatWesternValkyrie · 05/02/2019 23:15

I rather like their bold choices and I do love a peacock, although I’d be glad most of it was leaving with them if I was moving in. Oddly, the things that stuck out as most OTT were the window boxes on the gates!

If I end up in a house with enough land, I’d definitely have a peacock (alive, not stuffed!)

Teapot1984 · 05/02/2019 23:18

WOW

Trying to figure out the tribute to what looks like Liz the first behind the log burner?

Freyanna · 05/02/2019 23:19

It's like a mini Barbara Cartland style stately home!

RedForShort · 05/02/2019 23:20

Can't lie though, I'm disappointed with the shoe storage room (shoe closet?)

Nodnol · 05/02/2019 23:27

I love it. Their commitment to the theme is outstanding. I really like the Windsor mural.

newnameforthis7 · 05/02/2019 23:27

That made me LOL. Especially the fox sliding down the Banister!

I hope the animals aren't real (dead) animals though! Sad

SassitudeandSparkle · 05/02/2019 23:29

This was in the DM or somewhere online, I saw it recently too.

They have put a lot of effort into that house. It's Listed too!

winsinbin · 05/02/2019 23:31

I missed the original thread on this so was happy to see this one. I think the house is beautiful. What a labour of love it must have been. I couldn’t live with it myself as I like magnolia and plain wood but I would love to visit it. Absolutely stunning and so clean. Amazing.

LilQuim · 05/02/2019 23:35

How can it only be 2 bed? Surely I counted at least 6 suites? Hmm

It's giving me a bit of a headache, but I do admire their commitment to the cause. Bravo!

motherofmenaces · 05/02/2019 23:40

I do love it, it's bonkers and I think might be a pain to dustConfused

But jeez would it be creepy at night, all those stuffed animals & arty bits Shock

Purplecatshopaholic · 05/02/2019 23:45

Jeezo! I only looked a few of the pics before I nearly threw up. Whats with the stuffed foxes....? No dont tell me. Each to their own I guess. Rest assured there are no stuffed foxes in the vicinity of my house, lol

IamPickleRick · 05/02/2019 23:49

It’s in Kettering. So it's a no from me. Until then I was entirely sold on it. 😂

IveGotAlpen · 05/02/2019 23:51

Oh my god I think it's amazing ! I can imagine the owners being eccentric art dealer / musician types e

Mummylife2018 · 06/02/2019 00:46

Can you imagine walking round this house in the dark?!

OrigamiZoo · 06/02/2019 00:57

The shoes DO NOT match the owner!

I'm wondering where is all their real STUFF? And the cleaning....Shock

HPLikecraft · 06/02/2019 01:07

Yes, there have been other threads on this house, but it’s worth having yet another, just in case anyone missed them!

This house deserves to be looked at.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 06/02/2019 01:11

Oh my goodness me. I really don't know quite what else to say! Just fabulous 😮.

ecuse · 06/02/2019 01:13

Holy shit!
The labour of love!
I am quietly impressed.

ArmchairTraveller · 06/02/2019 07:52

That is wonderful! It is someone who is living out their dream of owning a stately home on a budget, they must sigh in delight every time they come in from the real world.
No, it isn’t my taste, but I delight in their imagination.

JenniferJareau · 06/02/2019 08:01

I thought the fox on the windowsill was shagging the pheasant.

I had to take a look after reading the above sentence Grin

I really like it. Wouldn't want to have to clean it but I like it.

origamiunicorn · 06/02/2019 08:07
Envy
SoupDragon · 06/02/2019 08:07

I had not seen the previous thread.

Well, it's certainly not magnolia! So many dead animals. My personal favourite was the small fox on top of the washing machine.

TeaMeBasil · 06/02/2019 08:10

Wowzer! I'm trying to picture the owners - the shoes did not fit in with my image!

It's like they've robbed a stately home (the massive pictures!) and stashed it all indoors to hide it.

Loved how the washing machine is shut in the cupboard of shame. You're not regal, you have no place here....but we do want clean clothes dammit!
