Just watching Prince of Egypt for the nine millionth time. I have loved it since it’s release when I was 7 years old and know it word for word! I can’t imagine I will ever get bored of it. Does anyone else have a film like this?

Apollo 13. Despite knowing the outcome before I saw it the first time Grin

Doghorsechicken · 02/02/2019 17:28

Absolutely adore Lord of the Rings and can rewatch them all any time! I even have the extended versions which means hours of pure joy!

Some Like It Hot. I laugh at all the same bits, over and over again. I can't imagine there ever being a more perfect film.

Canshopwillshop · 02/02/2019 17:30

I have a toddler. I have seen Moana approximately 5 hundred million times. Not through choice. Grin

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 02/02/2019 17:32

Mary Poppins and Oliver!

weaselwords · 02/02/2019 17:33

Blade Runner, the Martian, Die Hard and weirdly, Hit Man. I just adore the bizarre sexual tension.

ChodeofChodeHall · 02/02/2019 17:34

Agreed, PrivateParkin. "Nobody's perfect!" Grin

Minions (for the kids)

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 02/02/2019 17:39

Blade Runner, Enter The Dragon, Quatermass And The Pit, and The Wicker Man. We watch that every May Eve.

ChestOfFields · 02/02/2019 17:41

Grease.
Jack and Sarah (cry every time!)
28 days.
Dirty dancing.

Birdsgottafly · 02/02/2019 17:41

At Christmas I have to watch, Christmas with the Kranks, Christmas Carol (at least the muppet one), Four Christmases, Jingle all the way, Santa Clause and Fred Clause. Or it isn't Christmas.

Others are, Gone with the wind, Platoon, Adam Sandler films, Elysium, Bridesmaids, Identity Thief, the Hangover trilogy.

Loads of Horrors, Jeepers Creepers, Texus Chainsaw Massacre, Hills have Eyes, Friday the 13th, Halloween series.

But loads others.

crosstalk · 02/02/2019 17:42

The Knight's Tale - what's not to like - empowered serfs and women, great modern soundtrack (gavottes to David Bowie) and masses of fighting. And a naked Chaucer.

Lord of the Rings esp 2 when they defend Helm's Deep.

Hunger Games - with some of the second and third on fast forward (more fighting, I'm beginning to see there's a theme).

I suppose I look at the Holiday - because it's the meetsweet and the restitution of the lonely elderly scriptwriter which gets me. Impossibly saccharine.

ChestOfFields · 02/02/2019 17:43

Oh and, Miracle on 34th Street at least 3 times every Christmas!

AppleBlossomArseCheeks · 02/02/2019 17:44

Drop dead fred

winterinmadeira · 02/02/2019 17:49

I think I’ve watched them all so much and equally

DixieTrix · 02/02/2019 17:49

The Outsiders, classic 1980's with just about every member of Brat Pack in there...

HettyStThomas · 02/02/2019 17:50

Hot Fuzz is our go to movie

RedHatsDoNotSuitMe · 02/02/2019 17:54

And we watch It's a Wonderful Life every Christmas. Usually on Christmas eve.

And I always, always cry. Sometimes even before the opening credits! Grin
