What's the age gap between you and your other half?

Just wondering what age gaps there are on here for curiosity! There's 9 years between me and my DH and I always wonder if that is considered to be in the 'normal' or 'big' age gap bracket. (Not that there is such a thing but for arguments sake). What are the age gaps between you and your OH?

DH is 25 years older than me but still convinced that he'll outlive me!

Jupiter13 · 03/02/2019 00:19

Is 45 years too much

Mississippilessly · 03/02/2019 01:23

I'm 2 months older. We have both previously been in relations with 20+ years age gaps

ninalovesdragons · 03/02/2019 01:28

He's 8 months older than me. It's great. I get 8 whole months to mock how much older he is Grin

bubblegumbottles · 03/02/2019 01:40

10 years almost to the day

JeezYouLoon · 03/02/2019 01:55

Allegedly he's 3 1/2 years older, although I look about 13 1/2 years younger Wink

AgathaDanger · 03/02/2019 02:13

He's 2 days older.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 03/02/2019 02:18

DH is 8 years younger than me. He has told me he has always fancied older women, and I fancy younger men. Grin

YerAWizardHarry · 03/02/2019 02:20

14 months.
There was 9 years between me and DS's dad. I was 18 when we met he was 27. I felt sooo grown up but looking back I was still a kid

feellikeanalien · 03/02/2019 02:29

DP is 8 years younger than me but looks older😁. I've always been told I look young for my age.

Mind you mentally I think he still thinks he's about 25 - although he's much nearer 50 than 25!!

Aquamarine1029 · 03/02/2019 02:36

Almost 12 years between my husband and I, and I'm the eldest.

ThriftyMcThrifty · 03/02/2019 02:40

I’m three years older. I tell him I’ll still likely outlive him.

MawkishTwaddle · 03/02/2019 03:00

15 and a half years. He’s older.

I’m 45 this year and he’s just turned 60.

We don’t notice it.

Bumbalaya · 03/02/2019 03:02

11 years, not a problem :)

Bluesheep8 · 03/02/2019 08:13

He's 9 years older. There seem to be a few of us with the same age gap. We were 23 (me) and 32 (him) when we met. At work. We've been together 23 years this year. Many said it wouldn't last!

Chocolateandabook2019 · 03/02/2019 08:18

I’m two and a half years older than dh.

I keep telling him that I’m going to retire two and a half years earlier than him and enjoy the peace and quiet until he follows suit 😄😄.

DoAsYouWouldBeMumBy · 03/02/2019 08:22

He is seven years older. I'm starting to notice the difference now - as he moves towards 60, he's getting slight old man tendencies, while I still feel young.

I'm kidding myself that I'm still young, obvs 😂

Kim82 · 03/02/2019 08:29

Dh is older than me by 7 weeks to the day.

cricketmum84 · 03/02/2019 08:31

3 months and 2 weeks. I love it when he turns a year older first and I can tease him about being older!

bourbonbiccy · 03/02/2019 11:15

DH is 11 years older, it's perfect, we never notice.
Lads of my age just weren't compatible, then at 21 I met my wonderful husband and boom the rest just fell into place.
It does make me so sad that I will probably loose him later in life, so we live the best we can now together. Bonus is though, I will get to retire early, no way I'm going out to work on the cold mornings while he is tucked up in bed, we retire together that's the deal
