Well I'm going to scream so am venting here instead.

Dp has just spent around an hour doing one bloody thing for me, putting up a mirror.
All he had to do was cover a Christmas mural sticker thing of a deer and he's left it's sodding bits sticking out.

He's wondering why I'm not bowing with gratitude.
Is he for real?

GrinThat reminds me of the time dh installed a full length mirror in our bathroom. He positioned it directly in front of the loo. He was most upset when I asked him to move it. He couldn't understand why I didn't want to look at myself with my knickers around my ankles whilst having a poo!

Just set light to the place and walk away.

Thank you all :)

I was so traumatised that I took myself to bed early, couldn't sleep well and am up again. I'm glad others have noticed that the wallpaper looks like it's coming away as I'm stripping it today and getting a different one Grin

Dp is not 7ft 3 so will struggle to see himself in the bloody thing, I have to stand on tip toes and the wall is opposite my front door ( down a long hall ) so am very aware of how wrong it looks.
Dp will NOT be doing the wallpaper, I'm going to learn how from YouTube and then buy another new mirror.
That one can go upstairs!

Dp still wouldn't admit his handiwork was shit so he's no longer in charge of the drill. He didn't use string, used wallplugs and strong screws and I admire his attempts at getting it in the centre for a change but can't look at that monstrosity without laughing.

But why wasn’t the Christmas thing removed?

Zoflorabore · 21/01/2019 02:58

When I tried to remove it the wallpaper started to come off Blush

Ah, rather over enthusiastic on the decorations then?! Can’t fault that!

GingerbreadBlob · 21/01/2019 03:49

Sorry op, but that did make me chuckle.
