Does anyone have big boobs and a sports bra that's actually good?!

I'm currently wearing two to take the impact!
I end up feeling like my chest is in a vice.
Any recommendations?

I got mine from Next Directory

Chopsypie · 20/01/2019 09:14

Panache for me. Couldn’t get on with shock absorber at all, I need the encapsulation that comes with the underwrites on the panache. Comfortable enough to run in. I’m a 36G and got mine from amazon. They often have random colours from last years lines for under £20

SalrycLuxx · 20/01/2019 09:17

I’ve a panache one at present. Also done shock absorber in the past. Check out the Figleaves website - they usually have a range.

Yes to Shock absorber. I asked this question myself recently. I couldn’t find anything I could afford so managed to fit a back extender on an old SA bra that was too tight. The band comes up small. My other ones from TK Maxx.

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 20/01/2019 09:28

I liked shock absorber, but love sportjock - sportsbra.co.uk/product/super-sports-bra/

Churchillian · 20/01/2019 09:31

Enell all the way if you’re running, nothing else has the same level of support. Not pretty but the best - I have 34 GGs - and they don’t move at all without tape or the need for 2 bras

takemetomars · 20/01/2019 09:33

panache. 34GG here, run in them, no movement at all. You do need to use the clip to clip the straps together tho

WH1SPERS · 20/01/2019 09:33

I’m a 32G runner and also use Ennell.

Yes they are hideous and take 5 mins to put on but it’s worth it for no jiggle.

greencybermummy · 20/01/2019 09:38

Elomi sports bra are fab for large boobs. Try Ample Bosom website, also effluent advice over the phone from them.

greencybermummy · 20/01/2019 09:39

Effluent???!!! Excellent.

OneStepOneStumble · 20/01/2019 09:45

I just went on the Enell website and couldn't work out the sizing... I may be being dim but I'm a 32hh normally - anyone got any tips 😂

Sorry if derailing!

hussherbye · 20/01/2019 10:00

I think mines elomi. Anyway the important thing is to get one that has the extra hook on the straps to make it racer back- much more supportive once that is done up 👍

Sirzy · 20/01/2019 10:01

I didn’t get on with shock absorbers at all. The Freya active are the only ones which I have found both supportive and comfy

faintlyridiculous · 20/01/2019 10:10

Another vote for Enell. They’re amazing and they last forever too. I wear a 00 at 30G. I think working with your underbust measurement and then squishing it all in is the best way to get them to fit. They’re surprisingly comfortable too - I will wear mine for a whole day of skiing (and apres) and not have any discomfort, whereas even mid distance runs in a shock absorber left me sore.

anothermansmother · 20/01/2019 10:12

I wear a shock absorber and a boobuddy. I've found that they're not making a bit to escape that way and that they don't ache afterwards.

angel0071987 · 20/01/2019 11:45

Bravissimo every time. Fit like a dream

treaclesoda · 20/01/2019 11:49

32 H and for no movement at all I wear the shock absorber underwired bra. It is comfortable enough, although also nice to take it off. I think for a sports bra to actually work it has to be pretty tight. Not uncomfortable, because that defeats the purpose but they're certainly not as comfortable as an ordinary bra.

captainprincess · 20/01/2019 11:50

I have a Panache, it amazing! You have to sort of squeeze it on, but once it's on it's super comfy and nothing moves!
I'm 36D.

Kezzie200 · 20/01/2019 12:11

Just bought a size 4 enell. Hope it will see me through my couch to 5k in some degree of comfort.

ImFreeToDoWhatIWant · 20/01/2019 13:33

Panache Ultimate underwired Sports. I didn't rate Freya, Shock Absorber, or Enell tbh. None of them work for very large cups on a small back, forget to little control or extremely uncomfortable squashing.

notsurewhatshappening · 20/01/2019 13:35

I got a 2 pack of M&S sports bras for £13.50 in the sale (for both). They are very comfortable and everything stays put! Size D cup.

mytieisascarf · 20/01/2019 13:41

Yes... Shock Absorber from Bravissio. I'm a 32FF and it's great. I always had to double up but ended up with really bad breast pain so went into Bravissimo and got remeasured and it is brilliant.

Hwory · 20/01/2019 13:41

A high impact one from fabletics Demi lovato range.

Best one I ever had much better than my shock absorber one.

ballsdeep · 20/01/2019 13:42

I had a panache but it didn't stop the bounce. I've gone back to shock absorber run bra

WH1SPERS · 20/01/2019 14:16

I’m a 32G in a regular bra and wear a size 0 Ennell bra , which is marked

Bust 34-37”
Rib cage 29-31”

I reckon these are accurate as I’m just above the top of these measurements ( having put on weight over Christmas🥧🍪🍩🍹🥂) and the bra is slightly too tight but wearable.
