Does anyone have big boobs and a sports bra that's actually good?!

I'm currently wearing two to take the impact!
I end up feeling like my chest is in a vice.
Any recommendations?

Shock absorber bras

GobblersKnob · 20/01/2019 08:44

Panache one. No crushing, no bouncing, round boob shape. I'm 30G.

TheGirlWhoLived · 20/01/2019 08:44

I have the shock absorber one too, keeps my boobs safe but feels nice to take off after :):)

Waltching with interest Smile. Not yet found one that works for a 32H without great discomfort.

Boopear · 20/01/2019 08:45

I’ve always had to double up (32j). Especially for running ..from my experience, the best sports bra in the world can’t do it i it’s own Blush

Nelson251 · 20/01/2019 08:46

Also Shock Absorber

LarkDescending · 20/01/2019 08:46

*Watching.

Though waltching could be a new verb for trying to wrangle big boobs into a sports bra.

Aroundthesun · 20/01/2019 08:46

I use the Panache underwired sports bras. I'm a 32H and they work really well.

abbeydo · 20/01/2019 08:49

Shock absorber Run bra

meladeso · 20/01/2019 08:49

So I'll try on shock absorbers and panache!

M&S front zipper are the ones I use. 40DD

kaytee87 · 20/01/2019 08:50

Bravissimo

meladeso · 20/01/2019 08:51

Thanks everyone. I'll look for stockists for those. Are they hideously expensive?

34GG here but I wear a 36G in shock absorber. It's amazing.

meladeso · 20/01/2019 08:51

And do you guys run in these ones by the way? So they withstand proper jiggle impact?!

CardsforKittens · 20/01/2019 08:54

Two bras for running, one of which is a shock absorber. That’s the only thing that works for me. But I prefer cycling or swimming, partly because neither requires multiple bras (or, as Lark has it, waltching).

DamnCommandments · 20/01/2019 08:55

I'm a 34E and wear Shock Absorber too. They're amazing - I think because they don't just flatten your boobs to your chest.

Autumnchill · 20/01/2019 08:55

Shock absorber. These bad boys don't move an inch!

Aroundthesun · 20/01/2019 08:57

I do run, yes. I have no problem with jiggle but I do tape the area before a very long run to help reduce chafing! 🙈

Woofsaidtheladybird · 20/01/2019 08:58

Where do you get the shock absorber ones from?

randomsabreuse · 20/01/2019 09:01

Shock absorber in biggest cup size two up in the back for 28K bottom heavy. Panache would work if I had more boob on top but I bounced inside it. Bravissimo Inspire was a decent bra but I'm too close together to wear a wired full cup bra.

For running I wear shock absorber plus a compression vest which works fine for a half marathon. Also adequate for horse riding.

If someone ever makes a decent non wire sports bra in 28K I will be very happy.

At the moment I'm running in nursing bra 34K, small thunder Molke, a compression layer and a tight t-shirt because I had a baby recently and still big ribcage and my boobs are even more ridiculous. It works but only in coolish weather!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 20/01/2019 09:03

I run in mine. I always get them from Debenhams when they have an offer on. They’re 20% off at the moment

Shock Absorber high impact run bra.
You need to try them on, they fit differently from ordinary bras.
I am normally 34F, but take a 36D in this bra. It is excellent though.

username7000 · 20/01/2019 09:06

Shock absorber
I just got 1 from bravissimo it's amazing, I usually double up but don't need to with this bra ,I'm a f cup .

duriandurian · 20/01/2019 09:07

Usually pretty small but when bfeeding I was 34FF. I used enell bras front fastening from high up on chest to below bra band. They are hideous and took some manoeuvring but I didn't bounce at all. Tbf I think if I hadn't just given birth eaten ALL the cake it could have looked foxy in a corset type way. Either way, no movement- I hate sports bras that don't do their job properly.
