At last count;

2 boxes of mini pies from M&S
2 packs of potato skins, 2 packs of mini pizzas, and some pigs in blankets again from M&S. A Christmas pudding. A mini cheese board.

I think that's all. We didn't spend as much time at home this Christmas as we thought we would.

Otterses · 07/01/2019 08:48

Oh. And some fruit cake slices.

mammmamia · 07/01/2019 08:52

A couple of large boxes of chocolates.

HoraceCope · 07/01/2019 08:53

I forgot i stuck extra packet of pigs in blankets in the freezer, and we still have mince pies and a huge homemade christmas cake still has about 3 slices left to go!

I have a red cabbage thing in my freezer but that's it.

toomuchfaster · 07/01/2019 09:04

Half a Christmas cake and some chocolate. But I don't really count those as leftovers as I hoped they would last into February (bit aren't going to!!).

Adversecamber22 · 07/01/2019 09:11

A little Christmas cake
Four mince pies
Chocolate that was given to us as gifts.

caperplips · 07/01/2019 09:58

We still have our uncooked ham, which I froze and an Aldi red cabbage
I think there are perhaps 4 mince pies in a box in the cupboard but they will be dumped as we are off all extras due to weight gain over the break. We have 3 big occassions coming up and I have 2 new dresses which no longer fit and I want to wear them!

Magicstar1 · 07/01/2019 10:11

Half a pudding, small piece of cake, prawns in the freezer, cheese, box of mince pies, box of black forest mince pies, a black forest stollen and a half eaten box of chocolates.

Babdoc · 07/01/2019 10:18

The turkey carcass waiting to be boiled up for soup - I finished the final chunks of meat in an Indonesian curry last night! Oh, and a few vegetarian buffet nibbles in the freezer (veggie DD has gone back home), some nice celery seed crackers, and a dish of pheasant pate. The half eaten tub of twiglets is going in the bin, as only the DDs like them.

IggyAce · 07/01/2019 10:22

At the last check, a few mince pies, some mini pastries and mini eclairs, a bottle of vodka, a Christmas cake slab and 2 chocolate reindeer. There are probably some other bits as well. Really didn’t think I’d over done the shopping.

TansyViola · 07/01/2019 10:23

Some Christmas cake and shortbread

wallyfeatures · 07/01/2019 10:29

Half a red cabbage
bags of serrano ham that we've taken off the bone and frozen as no one was eating it.
1 Christmas pud (will keep until next year)
Lovely boxed stollen that was a gift, got to be eaten by May.
unopened box of dates
unopened bag of dates and bag of figs
Nuts, various
Cheese
2 boxes of posh cheese biscuits
2 boxes of chocolates
crates of beer
bottles of pop
bottle of gin that I forgot about Blush
half a bottle of Baileys
2 bags of Christmas sweets
Kids have got loads of sweets and chocolates that will likely keep them going until Easter.

BadlyAgedMemes · 07/01/2019 10:33

Just the Christmas pudding. We don't really like it. We always have too many other things we actually like around the house around Christmas, so the pudding never becomes tempting. Yet for some reason we buy one every year. Quite often it gets eaten around New Year, but I can't face it this year... It's good till Jan 2020, though, so I think I'll just save it up for next Christmas.

AutumnCrow · 07/01/2019 10:35

A bottle of Vermouth. I thought I'd make some martinis. I didn't.

ComtesseDeSpair · 07/01/2019 10:52

For some reason, last Christmas (so end of 2017), I found myself in the supermarket just as they’d reduced all their Christmas food to get rid of it. So I bought 8 giant “luxury” Christmas puddings, two enormous Christmas cakes and 5 big organic turkey crowns for the freezer, all for about £20. I don’t like Christmas cake or pudding, I don’t even especially love turkey and if I do cook it it’s in curries or stews so crown totally impractical. But they were cheap! And I thought I could do something with them. As a result, I still have 7 puddings, both cakes and three of the turkeys, and probably will this time next year, too.

Learned my lesson, didn’t buy anything this year!

elQuintoConyo · 07/01/2019 10:57

A box of *Lebuken buscuits from Lidl.
One candy cane from the Christmas tree that came down yesterday.
One bag of Maltesers from my Christmas stocking.
That's it.

  • Not sure how to spell it!
IHaveBrilloHair · 07/01/2019 10:57

Lots of cheese, 5 mince pies, squirty cream, a few packs of party food in the freezer.

PestoSurfissimos · 07/01/2019 10:59

1 x tub twiglets
A box of savoury nibbles
1 x Christmas pudding
A box of dates
And quite a lot of cheese & crackers

PestoSurfissimos · 07/01/2019 11:00

Oh & 1 x bottle of mulled wine

LBOCS2 · 07/01/2019 11:01

Christmas pudding
Half a block of cheddar
A gammon joint
Quite a lot of frozen party food
About six packs of pigs in blankets and devils on horseback
A pot of homemade red cabbage (frozen)
Half a pack of liebkuchen

We didn't even host this year!

HoraceCope · 07/01/2019 11:02

I have a box of mince pies, unopened tin of Quality Street, 2 stollens, 4 mini Christmas puddings and 2 large. A few packs of Heroes and opened selection boxes, some bixes of chocolate biscuits. And I can't have any more of it because I am 1 week into a diet, with 5 stone to lose! In sure DH and the kids will soon plough their way through it all.

ohdearmymistake · 07/01/2019 11:36

Magicstar1 if you need anyone to eat the black forest mince pies I'll volunteer I absolutely love them.

BikeRunSki · 07/01/2019 12:12

Bit of Stilton
Bit of Wensleydale with cranberry
Entire Christmas cake MIL made
A Christmas pud, deliberately bought fur dh’s summer birthday. It’s his favourite food.
