Can I have some sympathy please, I walked around for two days with a fractured spine

I'm not getting a whole lot of sympathy or help at home.
I was thrown from a horse last Friday, I knew I'd hurt myself but thought as I could walk it couldn't be that bad.

Turns out I have multiple spinous process fractures, it's agony and although I will be fine and don't need any treatment other than rest and painkillers I am feeling extremely sorry for myself. Sad

So my H is currently in bed sleeping off a hangover as he crawled in at 2am. It just gets better and better!

Bigchoc, H got a meniscus tear from playing golf, apparently it was 'agony' didn't stop him from playing golf though and seems to have healed itself ...

Argh stupid fat fingers! I've still officially signed off but have had to come back to work as I won't get paid if I'm not here. Still very very sore but I'm glad to be moving around

Ooh sounds awful! You're not supposed to go to work unless you're signed fit for work? Please look after yourself. Can you ask work for an occupational health assessment?
