Time to take down the Christmas decorations :-/

I am sat here in full procrastination mode. I love it when the house is in full festive flow but alas the time has come to put them in the attic for another year!

Anyone else facing the dreaded 'empty house' feeling?

I'll leave mine up for a while yet. January is the most depressing month and I like our decorations. I'll take them down when I can face the fact that it is no longer Christmas, and that's not yet.

Not at all, lady - my reply was meant in a jokey fashion too. Perhaps we should take a camels and Kings-spotting trip to Hull and Rochdale together sometime.

My tree is coming down on Saturday, ready for the bookcase that's being delivered on Sunday.
I've left some fairy lights to put on said new bookcase and the fairy lights on both the stairwells are staying until at least the clocks change.
