I was the only female at an army base in Northern Ireland . The sergeant major had to clear the toilets if I needed to go. One soldier had to come out of the shower in his towel as the sgt major shouted ..mag needs a wee! First time I saw him - we were married for 33 years til his untimely death.

I bollocked a bloke in the pub for being a twat. Turns out he had a gun to his head on his first day at work (not a place guns are normally seen!) His brother was there. We've been married 20 years despite the poor start!

@2019rubberband I meant we met on a night out and he came back to mine. Wasn't interested in anything serious, fully intended to say goodbye. 8 years later he's still here! So maybe failed one night stand would be a better description.

Random duos - does that mean you were randomly partnered with this man to fight...something ... together (ok - I dont really know what Fortnite is). But if that's the gist, then that's actually quite romantic. The two of you battling aliens/zombies/monsters (delete as applicable) side by side.

Blue yes, pretty much, us against the world... And the date went fantastic! I came out of a very abusive relationship 1 year ago to the day, I'd forgotten how amazing the company of a perfect gentleman can be! But with my eyes wide open this time Grin
