Hi!
I found out on boxing day that I'm too become a grandmother in August, which is a few wks before I'm 40!
My daughter will be nearly 22 when the baby is born and although a shock, we're all getting our heads round it now and its very exciting but she's only 7 and a bit weeks gone so can't tell too many people.
But 39 to be a grandma!! I'm gonna have to come up with a cool name... what do your grandkids call you?!

A man who used to work for DH became a grandfather at 35. His daughter was born when he was 18, then she had a daughter at 17.

I'd be very surprised if I became a grandparent before I'm 60.

My mum was 40, my nan became a great grandma at 60. We were all 20 when we had our first. I'm locking DD away from 19-21 no way do I want to be a nan at 40 Grin

My Uncle was Grandad in his late 30's. His eldest daughter had been born when he was in his late teens.

Muhahaha I thought I'd escaped, a few more weeks and I'd have made 40. Oh my family think it's hilarious!
