Just curious as I've only realised we've a good selection, we wouldn't normally have this much even at Christmas but had a party recently and also received a few gifts.
So right now we've two bottles of whiskey, one open but not much missing, a bottle of brandy, a litre bottle of vodka, a full bottle of gin and a bottle of gin with not much left and about a third bottle of Sambuca. We also have a fair bit new lager, cider and numerous bottles of red and white wine.
The wine will be well used over the coming weeks, but the rest will probably be there next Christmas, still I must admit it's nice having decent selection to offer guests.

We're on holiday for Christmas. I had a glass of champagne whilst out for dinner but all there is in the villa is one can of beer DH bought. He comes from a family of big drinkers but neither of us drink much.

BentNeckLady · 25/12/2018 20:07

5 or 6 bottles of gin
3 dark rum
Several JD
Several Bacardi
Several
Vodka
4 or 5 amaretto
2x red
1x Prosecco

I don’t drink anymore. Dh only drinks occasionally.

cheesenpickles · 25/12/2018 20:08

We have 7 bottles of red (we don't drink it, but get bought it a lot), 6 of white, two bottles of gin, 5 bottles of rum, bottle of grey goose, bottle of tequila, about 4 bottles of various Jim Beams, lots of minis, baileys, two crates of John Smiths and about 10 cans of pre mixed cocktails. We barely drink at home and it sort of mounts up. The vodka and tequila are unopened and we bought them on our honeymoon 6 years ago. Blush

Wow lots of well stocked up drinks cabinets on MN!

I've a really good selection of naice cheese and crackers too and posh nuts so I'm feeling very grown up!

I gave away 20 bottles of spirits yesterday

200 beers
125 bottles of wine
30 odd bottles of spirits

no extra for christmas

RedToothBrush · 25/12/2018 20:20

Enough to have a VERY VERY good party.

Sadly it's the two of us who do not drink a lot.

AnotherPidgey · 25/12/2018 20:22

Dunno! We found a bottle of whiskey yesterday. No idea where or when it was from as we can't stand the stuff. We're light drinkers so things can get forgotten about on the back of the two shelves. The last person to drink from the Baileys was probably Santa last Christmas. We mainly have an occasional can of cider or mixer drink and keep a fresh stock of those.

snowone · 25/12/2018 20:23

A whole variety of Gin.....but I'm pregnant so I just stare longingly at the bottles from time to time Grin

SellFridges · 25/12/2018 20:23

Probably something like 12 bottles of wine (mostly white or fizz of various types), 20 lagers, 7 or 8 bottles of gin, port, amaretto, and a few other random almost empty bottles.

Would usually be a bit less but DH hasn’t been drinking for the last few months so I haven’t got through it as fast as usual!

DramaAlpaca · 25/12/2018 20:24

A lot.

brizzledrizzle · 25/12/2018 20:24

One bottle of wine, one bottle of gin, a small bottle of cider, a bottle of mulled wine and a tiny bottle of 50 year old mead.

adultcat · 25/12/2018 20:27

A ridiculous amount! But, that's all year round as DH works for a drinks supplier so is always bringing stuff home. However, we hardly drink so it just gets given away or sits in a cupboard!

MissWilmottsGhost · 25/12/2018 20:34

Shock at all the gin.

I have no gin Sad

Actually we dont have a lot of anything, and DH and I rarely drink so current stock is the maximum our house ever holds:

  1. Bottle of single malt inherited when DF died that is slowly depleted by me (DF died in 2014)
  2. A few small bottles of spirits and liqueurs bought for various recipes
  3. Bottle of red wine received as an xmas gift
  4. Bottle of white wine we bought for dinner guests in case anyone wanted white (no one did and now it will hang around until used for cooking)
  5. crate of beers I gave DH for xmas before discovering he already has a few bottles left from the last crate we bought months ago Hmm

Feel a bit of a saddo compared to the well stocked drunks cabinets pp have. I used to be a total pisshead though so its probably a good thing.

Scotinoz · 25/12/2018 20:46

We have a healthy supply; 2 cases of wine, 20ish bottles of gin, some cava and prosecco, and pudding wine.

Sod's law though, we're ill and not drinking it😬😬😬

Butternutsqoosh · 25/12/2018 20:52

Magnum of champagne
2x champagne
2x magnums of prosecco
40 different flavour vodkas
1/2 bottle gin
2x bottles whiskey
2x red wine
1x magnum (?) rose

OddestSock · 25/12/2018 21:37

A bottle of prosecco I was given by my manager at work a few weeks ago. DH & I don't drink so it'll probably stay there until it's time to donate a bottle for the school fair in the summer

Lauren83 · 25/12/2018 21:43

I'm pregnant so not for me but....
6 bottles of red
1 bottle of white
1 bottle of rose
1 bottle of champagne
Bottle of gin
4 carling
4 strongbow
Box of staropramen
Box of Heineken
Box of San Miguel
1/2 bottle of 'fake' Bailey
1/2 bottle of mulled wine
1 x fruit cider
4 x alcoholic ginger ale
2 x alcoholic dandelion and burdock
Bottle of some fancy whisky

TheFaerieQueene · 25/12/2018 21:45

Enough to open a shop.

Amaaboutthis · 25/12/2018 21:45

About 8 bottles of single malt whisky which DH collects and drinks

About 15 bottles of various spirits which we never drink, not sure why we have them

6 bottles of Prosecco, only drink on xmas, parties etc

4 bottles of red wine, all gifts as we don’t drink red

6 or 7 bottles of beer, again don’t tend to drink it but always offer it to guests

2 bottles of white wine. This we do drink, buy a couple of bottles a week

MistressDeeCee · 25/12/2018 21:46

1 Bailey's, 1 Ginger wine, 1 Rosé. & it'll take a while to get through, I'm not a big drinker as don't like that drunk feeling

Charlieandlola · 25/12/2018 21:49

About 200 bottles of wine and champagne

About 100 of which are in regulators as bought for investments

Usual drinks cabinet full of spirits

Enough to keep us going but we are drinking markedly less as we get older...

daphine2004 · 25/12/2018 21:55

Loads for the season but found out I was pregnant yesterday! Gutted! Not about the pregnancy but not drinking, especially with my favourite tipple just sat there looking at me suggestively to celebrate - next year!! Lol.

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 25/12/2018 21:55

Loads and loads. A fridge and cupboard full of beer and two kitchen cupboards full of wine, spirits and liqueurs. They're in the garage, not the kitchen. The spirits and liqueurs mostly date back to a cocktail party about 5 years ago and a lot of the beer is from a subscription I bought DH last Christmas. He didn't want to continue it as he wasn't drinking fast enough. We don't drink that much. I had a couple of glasses of wine today, a pint a couple of weeks ago and probably nothing else since my birthday. DH had a couple of beers today but is more likely to go to the pub (about twice a month) than to have more than one drink at home. It's all there because we don't drink it!
