Whatever tune are you using Coldhandscoldheart that you could fit ooooh, Hokey Cokey cokey in?! I suppose a short[er] ohhh lets you get the extra syllable but do people - particularly the wee children who are the Hokey-Cokey demographic - not trip over the words? (Tiny chance total lack of sleep & trying to ignore post-op complications/illness has me overthinking this, yes...)

Also, I now really quite want to do the Hokey-Cokey (not a euphemism) & possibly also play some other toddler group/nursery/Infant School favourites for the craic: In And Out The Dusky Bluebells and maybe There Was A Princess Long Ago. Ohhh I've gone all misty eyed, and have an erge to gather the family so I can recapture my yoof. 'there was a princess long ago' was one of my favourites, not because of the princess bit, but dancing and ducking under arms.
