Just wondering if anyone had experienced any negative comments or attitudes from BF in public and if so, how did you deal with it?

tinkly I was at target before getting pregnant, went to group throughout (gained 3 stone because if I wanted it I ate it!) and am now half following the midwife-approved plan for breastfeeding mums (which allows me ALL THE CHEESE). I've lost half of the gain already, and I'm just eating sensibly with extra healthy snacks (And more cake/biscuits than you can shake a stick at)

Mostly we've gone back at this point as it's a 2 minute walk from the house and is a good reason to get out and see people!

No. Had 3 dcs and bf them all. Never any comments. Most people take no notice.

Yes 20 years ago. Two elderly ladies, probably late 70s/early 80s. Tutted and said so I cd hear it, that that should be done in the toilets. I am afraid when dd had finished I stopped at their table and said my baby had enjoyed her lunch.

I fed everywhere and anywhere. No one was ever outright hostile but I did have stares and smirks from a young woman once. And another time when I was feeding in a baby change a woman came in and tried to pull a curtain across.. the curtain was only about a foot out from the chair I was sat in .. when I said please leave it I'm not bothered she said 'Oh but my husband will be coming in in a minute and tried to pull it across again. I grabbed the curtain and growled leave it so she backed off. She spent the entire nappy change glowering at me but her husband was perfectly friendly. I can only assume she didn't want him to see my boobs🤔

Oh you sound like me em; I ate loads when breastfeeding and the weight just fell off without even trying. Fantastic bonus to breastfeeding isn't it? Totally shallow and beside the point, but as a young mum breastfeeding mum I always had a great figure; very slim, big norks and toned from running round after the kids.

Sadly as an old glimmer those days are far behind me now.
