Can you type in your accent (just for fun)

The sentence is "Check back tomorrow, I'll see if the book has arrived"

In my accent (probably a bit exaggerated) it would be:

"Check back tu-morra, al see if the book's urrived."

Harder than I thought!

Can you write in your accent? Can you guess where I'm from?

Can you tell I'm bored?Grin

check back tomorral an oil zee if ze boook as arrived mind

CountFosco · 18/12/2018 20:15

My native accent is heavily influenced by another language and so the sentence would be structured completely differently. In addition the community is small and rural and so there is less formal language because everyone is related knows each other and all minor details of their life and work so the conversation would be more like this (Mansie being the name of the postman):

'Pop in th' morn's morning efter Mansie's been and Ah'll hiv a keek fir hit'.

kennelmaid · 18/12/2018 20:27
