What do you do with all your wet clothes?

We have our on a clothes horse in the living room and it looks awful. No room for a tumble dryer and the landing isn't big enough to put it there. No window in the bathroom so not a great option either.

Downstairs is all open plan so the whole of the downstairs looks awful!
Does anyone have any great ideas?

I would prioritise buying a condenser tumble dryer and putting it somewhere, anywhere e.g. in my bedroom if I had to. Or on the patio in a little shed /cupboard thing.

Or change the WM for a WM/TD but you'd need to get a good one.

I can not see how familes cope with the amount of washing in winter and no TD.

We put ours in the spare room, which is basically now a washing room. It's always full of clothes drying or folded clothes waiting to be put away. Drives me mad when we have people come round and we have to turn it back into a bedroom.

My mum still puts hers outside this time of year! Confused Even if it's icy cold and damp, they go out. She insists they will get dry and if they don't, at least they'll smell nice Hmm When it rains intermittently, she can put them out and bring them in countless times and still insists it's the only way.
