Got a Christmas event tonight, some of it is outdoors, can't cry off as it would be letting quite a few people down, also kids are excited and has cost ££...

It's going to be horrible and cold!

I've not long been back.
I really didn't want to go, but I'm so glad I did. War of the Worlds at the o2. Twas amazing.
Knackered now though.

Sorry duke you might be disappointed as it's just a Scottish (Doric dialect) way of saying cuppa or cup of tea/coffee.

I've just rolled in

I'm glad I did unweld myself from the sofa and make it out - the pre performance drinks were fun and I met some interesting new people, then the concert was excellent and my friend was very appreciative that we had come along to support her. Warm fuzzy feelings all round (that may have been helped along by the prosecco)

I'm really glad I ventured out last night......had a lovely delicious meal, a fancy cocktail and enjoyed the company of our very gorgeous friends.

Tonight .......it's Strictly catch up time on the sofa!
