What did you have 20 years ago that you don't have now?

  1. the ability to sleep face down (sadly lost during 1st pregnancy, have
    never been truly comfortable since Grin

My mother.
My ex-partner who was still a good friend.
More friends.
A career.
A more equal, less resentful, relationship with my husband of just one year.
A wrinkle-free face.
A flat in London that would be paid off by now, and we could have retired on the proceeds.
My family jewellery that was stolen in a break in a few years later.
A couple of stones of excess fat.

So the only positive in all that time is learning how to lose weight and a strategy for keeping it off. Not much balanced against all I've lost. Wow, that was depressing.

A large collection of music cds on display. A cd player.
My Dad. Sad
Friends. A social life. (they've all disappeared since I had kids).
Slim, pert body.
Lots of lay ins/ sleep in the daytime (party at night).
No hangovers.
Time for myself. (however I love my new phase of life with my young dc)
