Early twenties staff member keeps saying it and I don’t think it means what she thinks it means

I thought it meant a picnic for ages before DH made me listen to the lyrics of the song by the same name..

One of my colleagues told us she spent the weekend cleaning out her glory hole Grin I know the Oxford dictionary meaning is totally innocent but she went on quite a while and in detail as her glory hole was quite a size.

ZaZathecat · 03/12/2018 08:42

I'd assume she's saying it on purpose for a laugh.

Unsureofmyselfx · 03/12/2018 09:26

Nooooo she’s not saying it ironically. She’s quite shy and sheltered. Was home schooled abroad and then came to sixth form and uni in England

It's not a fondant fancy eaten outside on a nice afternoon then? I feel grubby now...

PlatypusPie · 03/12/2018 09:30

Know it ? I can sing it 🎶

Dandeliontea123 · 03/12/2018 09:33

I had no idea what this meant for years! I just thought that the couple were sitting in their garden watching planes go by or something Blush

That Yoni massage thread will never get old - 'my yoni says no(ni)' 😂

'Afternoon delight' always reminds me of Anchorman but I can't actually remember the scene!

megletthesecond · 03/12/2018 09:37

Yes.

A snickers though 😂.

HironsBirons · 03/12/2018 10:28

I’ve never heard of it!

Grin That song used to be a staple on Radio 2, it always played while we were on the way home from school and my brother and I used to sing along to it at the top of our voices. Our poor mum! Grin
