Suspicious neighbour activities

She moved in recently (6months or so)
Doesn't go out, told one of our neighbours she has mental health problems and therefore doesn't like to socialise. So I thought that explained it.

Every second, sometimes third weekend she has blaring music on and about 3-4 men arrive at dusk and leave at 6am.

The music is very loud on some nights, but seems like it's just on to mask sounds.

She's quite young, about 18-25. Doesn't go out shopping. No other friends come or leave.

She's had extensive work done in her council house, there's been drilling as recently as last week. Seems like a construction site.

She lives in the flat above me and whenever the entrance door slams shut downstairs, without fail she walks to her window to check who it is. Without fail!! I don't know what/who she expects to see give no one comes to visit.

I really suspect they're filming porn or there's prostitution going on.

I've seen the men the come to her house and they have me thinking twice about knocking her door to complain about noise.

Who should I report noise levels and my suspicions to? Also is this normal youth behaviour? I thought they prefer going out???

How else would they have time to observe any neighbours activities so precisely?

Maybe they work shifts. Maybe they work from home. Maybe they are on maternity leave. Maybe they are on sick leave. Maybe they are retired.

There are lots of other reasons why someone might be at home too. Do you really have such a narrow view of life that you are unable to understand that not everyone lives and works the way you do?

In any case, it doesn't matter because the thread is not about that.

Chances are... that living in a council property and having enough time to even notice what a neighbour is up to several times and asking if they should report them etc... they do not work.

Also how can one see into a flat above them and see who enters and leaves it

@mumto2babyboys what a misery you are.

If concerned OP then please contact someone, be it SS (If she looks young) or local police. If she's in a terrible situation you may be the key to getting her some help. If she's doing all that you say under her own free will then you might get the music turned down a bit. Win win.

We own our home and I don't work!

I’m ‘well bred’ enough not to dismiss those who live on council estates as layabouts and to have the intelligence to understand that being home during that day doesn’t equal that anyway. Is it really so hard for you to comprehend, or are you thick as well as bigoted?
