Do you judge people who have dirt under their fingernails?

I do - I really dislike it whether it's a man or a woman. Even if it's only a tiny bit!

Dh is a farmer, the only time his hands/nails are really clean is a week into annual holidays when he's stayed away from purple spray and oil and had several long soaks in the pool/sea.

Personally I'd rather see a bit of dirt under a clipped naturel nail than the long gel/plastic talons that everyone has now.

It was meant to be (vaguely) lighthearted Greensleeves. If I go on a date with someone it puts me off if they have dirty fingernails. Going back to the poster who said about the beauty therapist doing a facial, yes I had seen/thought the same thing.

Yes BlackBeth, my other daughter has severe ASD. She started refusing to have her hair washed because she was anxious so I do know what that's like. Basically I was having to go and see her 3 times a week (over 1 hour away) at her residential school because she wouldn't otherwise get in the bath. That was a fault of the provision though. Luckily she's now in a better one. I do really stress about personal hygiene. One way or another I will get her in the bath!! At least mine are girls though so never going to be 6 ft.

Oh come on its clear elektra meant people with poor hygiene.. those who don't wash after using the toilet anyone?
Mn can be like a parallel universe
It's ok to have dirty finger nails but not ok to "only" shower every second day of the week
Ridiculous
