I think the reason is that they both have nice mums. Although they are both annoying in their own way I find both of them very comforting. I think it’s the way they both have so much family too.

Friends. It’s on C5 again at the moment and it makes me so happy!

Oh gosh yes I forgot Friday Night dinner!!

I love the family/community kind of comedies. For all you can say about the Royle family they love each other, and laugh together so much I want to be there having a brew and a penguin.

And Friday night dinner - is love that family set up to come home to every weekend as an adult child, or for my child to come home to.

And Gavin and Stacey because I'm welsh, and I love the family values and support of the Essex bunch.

Sadly as a single mum with no parents around, just extended family on another country, I won't and I think that's why I get great comfort from watching these and living vicariously.

I've even got my 7yr old hooked now, too! He loves it and knows all the characters.
Nothing better than snuggling up with him on the sofa with a blanket and a couple of episodes of Gilmore Girls ☺️
