Can Anyone Identify This Tablet?

I found a tablet on the bedroom floor this morning and it is driving us mad as none of us can work out what it is?

It is the one in this picture that is not in the blister pack. DH told me it was one of his but when I photographed it alongside his (in the packet) it clearly isn't.

I have tried Googling and come up with something called Oravig but I can only find references to it that relate to the USA.

Any ideas anyone?

holidayingsoon · 26/11/2018 11:08

Can you post the picture of the Bach of the pack ?

empmalswa · 26/11/2018 11:17

Is there anything on the back

Sheitgeist · 26/11/2018 11:25

It looks different to those in the blister pack, but I know from my DD being on long term medication that the look of the tablets can vary from packet to packet if they are generic and not branded.
Perhaps it was one of your DHs from a previous pack.

sadiesnakes · 26/11/2018 11:25

Lorazepam?

madeyemoodysmum · 26/11/2018 17:22

Just chuck them

bumblebee39 · 26/11/2018 17:27

Loratadine? Common daily antidepressant if so, come in all kinds of packs. Probably no big deal.

HotelRedFace · 26/11/2018 18:03

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The ones in the blister pack are DH's tablets and the one out of the packet is the one I found.
I have just got home and turned it over and it says 445 on the other side. I know it's not important but it's driving me mad not knowing what it is!

Loratadine? Common daily antidepressant

Not anti depressants

bumblebee39 · 26/11/2018 18:08

Antihistamine sorry

bumblebee39 · 26/11/2018 18:09

But it's not I think it's lamotragine which is used as an anticonvulsant or mood stabiliser.

I googled it because I have seen them before and remembered why I recognised it

CallMeRachel · 26/11/2018 18:11

If you take it into your local pharmacy they should be able to identify them for you

MotorcycleMayhem · 26/11/2018 18:12

Is there anything imprinted on the back of the tablet? Has he travelled to the USA? What's the packet medication that he's claiming it's the same as?

MotorcycleMayhem · 26/11/2018 18:13

Sorry, X post

HotelRedFace · 26/11/2018 18:18

It says 445 on the back. The ones in the pocket are generic Etoricoxib which he has on repeat prescription. Before that he had Arcoxia which is a brand name of the same drug but we got the prescription changed to Etoricoxib as we were having such problems tracking down Arcoxia every month.

Could it be an animal tablet? Worms or something?

Magenta46 · 26/11/2018 18:22

phenobarbital. An anti convulsant

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 26/11/2018 18:23

You're going to have to give a few more details.

How big is the tablet?
Is there any scoring on the other side?

CoperCabana · 26/11/2018 18:25

HoleyCoMoley · 26/11/2018 18:27
