DS4 is currently devouring a bowl of porridge.

He sometimes has yoghurt and a cereal bar. Or weetabix.

He has been known to ask for pizza....

My six year old is a breakfast person, he had plain yoghurt and fruit, followed by scrambled eggs and toast. He sometimes has a croissant too Grin

confusedandemployed · 21/11/2018 06:38

Boiled egg and soldiers, porridge, wheaties, cheerios, the occasional (and much heralded) bacon buttie or pain au chocolat. Payday Friday is always breakfast from Greggs 😂

confusedandemployed · 21/11/2018 06:38

Should add, I'm paid monthly...

DS 5yo likes weetabix/cheerios, fruit and toast. Bacon sandwiches or pancakes on Sundays. Grin

MrTumblesSpottyHag · 21/11/2018 06:44

One is eating Bran Flakes with lemon yoghurt and the other is eating granola with milk. I think they're a bit mixed up.

Ricekrispie22 · 21/11/2018 06:47

Krave
coco pops
chocolate spread on toast
Organic buckwheat porridge with almond milk and homemade raspberry compote

NerrSnerr · 21/11/2018 06:48

Usually toast. One year old has toast and butter or jam and the four year old likes cheese on toast or marmite on toast.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 21/11/2018 06:50

Weekdays it's plain weetabix or cinnamon/raison bagel with butter.

Weekends chocolate weetabix or toast with chocolate/biscuit spread. Or if I would like a lay in I leave a chocolate brioche with some fruit next to tv controller 😂

noenergy · 21/11/2018 06:50

Cornflakes for my 3 during the week and egg and toast at the weekend.

Justlikedevon · 21/11/2018 06:52

Dd is a big br3akfast fan. Rule is : something fast, reasonably healthy on school days, so weetabix or porridge mostly. On weekends, she loves pain au chocolat, pancakes, bacon sandwich, eggs, crumpets, bagels, toast or variety pack cereal (I refuse to buy big boxes as she mainlines them).

RoseMartha · 21/11/2018 06:53

Chocolate porridge although i don't buy branded version. Use shops own make instant with value hot choc then i can make it a slightly less sweet and works out cheaper.

TheGreenDot · 21/11/2018 06:54

Alpha bites during the week. Or those premise pancakes with butter.

At the weekends coco pops or toast, scrambled eggs, boiled egg and soldiers, homemade pancakes with Nutella.

She 3.

Sirzy · 21/11/2018 06:56

Ds is currently going through a phase of eating salami and olives for breakfast

NancyJoan · 21/11/2018 06:57

DD really struggles to eat early in the am, so on school days has a small bowl of cereal. At weekends, eggs or beans on toast, but later on

DS lives for carbs. Has 2 hot cross buns, or crumpets, or toasts, and a banana.

Yerroblemom1923 · 21/11/2018 07:01

Cereal or toast or bagel with Philly or plain yoghurt or fruit, occasionally egg and soldiers or choc pancake. Dd varies from having something disgustingly sweet e.g. Nutella on toast to natural yoghurt and strawberries the next day!? I call it a "balanced" diet!Wink

cjt110 · 21/11/2018 07:02

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts I like your brioche remote idea!!

Sirzy very continental!!

In this weather on a school day , porridge and toast. Weekends cereal and a bacon sandwich. Summer time cereal and a croissant.
Cereal choices are cornflakes , shreddies , wretabix and crunchy nut cornflakes for a very occasional trear

TeddyIsaHe · 21/11/2018 07:06

Dd is obsessed with marmite, so would eat that every day if I let her. Usually on granary toast with unsalted butter.

She’ll also tolerate porridge, no sugar muesli (with any coconut picked out) or almond butter on a seedy bagel.

She hates eggs! Which are my go-to morning breakfast. I keep trying her with them but no go as of yet. I dream of sharing scrambled eggs with her, should probably get out a bit more!

NoPhelange · 21/11/2018 07:08

Peanut butter and nutella on toast or cheerios, neither are breakfast fans on school days and I've given up the battle and would rather they had something they'll eat than nothing at all. Can sometimes talk them into porridge but only if it has got a fist sized blob of jam on top 🤦🏻‍♀️ weekends they'll usually ask for either pancakes or bacon or sausage on toast.

Angel80Bitch · 21/11/2018 07:09

Toast- always have trouble getting her to eat before school

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 21/11/2018 07:18

Porridge, Cheerios, Weetabix or scrambled eggs on toast in the week. Always with a yogurt/probiotic drink.

Weekends - bacon sandwich, Rösti waffles, or an egg soaked cheese toastie in the waffle maker, Butterzopf and jam, boiled egg and soldiers or a full English - depending on time, mood and ingredients Smile

Minniemountain · 21/11/2018 07:21

Marmite on toast and an apple. I read to him on school days to keep him occupied enough to eat it.

BikeRunSki · 21/11/2018 07:22

DS(10) is impossible to fill up at the moment. He’s growing as you look at him, and has a very poor appetite. He’s just nit that interested in food. We have most success with breakfast - potato waffle, beans, fried egg and sausages!! Most days.

dementedpixie · 21/11/2018 07:29

Ds had cereal and a pancake. Dd has nothing and barely gets up early enough to get dressed and out the door on time
