I'm Autistic so have a tendency to be particularly obsessive but I could talk about my favourite band all day(Rammstein). Also World Cinema even though I'm not especially knowledgeable on the subject but I could discuss my favourite films non stop. Also books.

What's your pet subject?

OP posts:

How Blockchain is the future of computing.
Cryptocurrency and the democratisation of money.
How Plastic Surgery Disasters and Frankenchrist are 30 years ahead of their time.
Why Voivod are probably the most inventive rock band ever, and Piggy should be revered as a god.
Why I would love to see Corey Glover and Mike Patton sing together. Living Colour and Faith No More on stage at the same time? Shock How awesome would that be?

DoctorTwo · 21/11/2018 23:56

Oh, and why test match cricket is ace, and how I wish for another Brian Johnston for Test Match Special.

PrivateParkin · 21/11/2018 23:59

Tennis. I love it so much and I love talking about it - luckily my sisters also love it and there is a fab thread here on MN where I also witter on. Old films, actors and murder mysteries I can also go on about forever.

Redcliff · 22/11/2018 00:00

Those saying "The Gilmore Girls" - do you know there is a podcasts called "The Gilmore Guys" where they talk an episode per podcast. It is great - someone on mumsnet mentioned ages ago and I got hooked.

Music, the awful clothing fashions in the UK. At present I could also argue against Brexit all day.

PrivateParkin · 22/11/2018 07:15

@Davros have you been on the classic films thread on here? Loads of old Hollywood chat over there.

PrivateParkin · 22/11/2018 07:17

@PrivateParkin he's lovely! Down to earth, kind, handsome and co-wrote some of the best songs ever written. Saw him live last week and it was literally one of the best things that ever happened to me!

privateparkin thanks I will have a look. I think I looked at it a long time ago when it started but couldn't keep up and didn't want to bore everyone by mentioning films that had already been suggested. Maybe it's slowed down. I might spend a lot of little time catching up today

Game of Thrones and MBTI personality profiling. I've come to the conclusion that there isn't much value in MBTI but I once found an internet thread profiling GoT characters and I disappeared for nearly a day. My DH has stock lines now that include 'I thought we decided this was all bollocks?'

HmmmHashtag · 22/11/2018 09:32

@librarypictures I have an Audi RS3 Smile

I could talk about dogs all day long.

Also skin care.
