Matched betting...could anyone talk me through it?

I've seen matched betting as a viable option to earn a little cash but am wondering if anyone can

a) tell me if it's worth the time/effort
b) explain how to get started in one words of one syllable

Oddsmonkey 60% off for first month - didn’t like to eat into my profits but the full Oddmaker access is saving me so much time.

Same, I was looking for the odds myself as well as using team profit, I signed up to odds monkey offer of £1 for a week and can find the best odds so much faster now, it's £17 a month, so for less than 60p a day it's definitely worth it.

How's it going for you all? I've made £1500 so far and I'm starting to branch out into the more complicated offers now.

Toby, what offers have you done to get so much profit? I’m only up by around £300 but admittedly have been slow to do offers and keep winning at the bookie which then hits my exchange account. I think I must be missing something with reloads. Have multiple bookie accounts but have only had a few reload offers from Coral, Betway and maybe 1-2 others. I’m a bit lost with 2Ups and the non-straightforward racing offers. Think I need to stop being so cautious!

Golden I did most of the sign up offers (not the ones focused on Accumulators, too complicated) then I do weekly bet clubs, free bet if XYZ happens etc. I also "lent" myself a really good starting bank of about £500 which really got the ball rolling. Have you signed up to Odds Monkey or Profit Accumulator, they have all the daily offers listed - I tend to just work through a few of those as time allows.

Thanks Tobuy. I think I need to get back to the new customer offers. Have signed up to OM ... wouldn’t be without it! Sounds like I need to get stuck into a few daily offers and do some bet clubs. Are there any in particular you recommend or are they all much of a muchness. I have £170+ sitting in one bookie so will withdraw and do a couple of bet clubs next week.

Paddy is the best IMO, you don't really need to try to do the bets as there are so many offers you just hit it without thinking. Coral, Sky and Betray are good too.
My advice would be to not leave funds languishing in bookies, withdraw asap and move on to the next offer, at least until your bank is big enough.
