Last time you fancied anyone in real life

When was the last time you saw someone out and about, a stranger, and thought they were attractive?

I'm not some kind of perve honest, it's just I realised today it's been years since I actually found anyone attractive. Is this normal? I'm sure I used to.

I haven't fancied anyone since DH. He still gives me butterflies.

MrsJane · 29/10/2018 19:30

Never used to at all when I was younger, but I hit my thirties and now fancy everyone!!

My doctor, the Sainsbury's delivery man, the manager in my local department store... I think I'm going through some kind of midlife crisis!!

(I use the term 'fancy' loosely by the way! I'm happily married, just admiring from afar!)

HildaZelda · 29/10/2018 19:31

Polish guy who works in my local Aldi. Great little ass Grin

WhoTFIsAlanBrazil · 29/10/2018 19:37

There is sometimes a very hot guy on my morning train. Always smells amazing, lovely muscular body and nice suit.

There is also a guy at my gym, but I am old enough to be his mom (and I wouldn't have been a teenage mom either) BlushBlush

I wouldn't cheat on DH though unless train guy asks me out Grin

The Dad of a child I teach, I couldn’t focus properly at parents evening last week, I got all tongue tied!

I'm happily married, but I always have silly crushes. They never last long, but it makes ordinary everyday things a little more interesting.

buckingfrolicks · 29/10/2018 19:43

Blimey you're all at it - agog and a flutter. Not me. My flutter has flustered off and my gog is no more.

Kevin mcloud might resurrect it

I really really fancy my DP if only he sorted out his overgrown facial hair Envy

Kernowgal · 29/10/2018 20:02

Apart from a good friend's boyfriend Hmm, there was a very handsome bloke on a bus I was on recently. There is almost NOBODY attractive at work, and I work in a big organisation.

I see 'good-looking' blokes around, but most of the time they're too young/trendy/clean-shaven/thin/short or whatever. The options on POF locally are mostly Mr Potato Head or men who think a webcam shot taken far too close to their faces is going to lure the ladies in.

Carlyrichards · 29/10/2018 20:06

Liked someone who works in a shop where I live. Thought there was a little bit of sizzle between us (from afar, nothing ever happened). Found out he is utterly horrid through someone that knows him. Meh! First crush for maybe 2 years? Cba now!

Santaclarita · 29/10/2018 20:09

Apart from my partner, a guy at work. So good looking, but found out he was 18. I was 26 at the time. Sad felt too old for him.

midsomermurderess · 29/10/2018 20:12

Virtually never. I do sometimes wonder if I live in a city with a remarkably low bar when it comes to attractiveness (idly looking out the bus window on the way to work).

SputnikBear · 29/10/2018 20:16

There was a smoking hot guy trimming next door’s trees a few weeks ago. His skin was a really dark smooth brown and he had blue eyes which was such a startling contrast, I did a double take. He had on a sleeveless top to show off his muscular arms and was lifting huge branches like they were twigs. I passed him on the way home, then took the dog out for a walk so I had an excuse to pass him twice more. Tried to encourage the dog to sniff outside so I could hang around longer and stare!

MsFenellaFielding · 29/10/2018 20:20

I work somewhere where I meet many men, also women, everyday.

There's a man, at least 20 years younger, who is just MARVELLOUS. He tells me of his horses, dogs and I don't hear a thing as I am far too busy thinking very rude thoughts.

He is LUSH swoons

BitchQueen90 · 29/10/2018 20:25

I have crushes all the time. I'm a single parent and not looking for a relationship but I like having a flirt. I'm really fickle though, I go off people quickly!

ahola · 29/10/2018 20:28

I'm terrible at the moment- a colleague (even though I know he's gay!), he's just so lovely and he's gorgeous.
My son's music teacher Blush thankfully I don't have to speak with him.
My consultant, probably because he's made me better...

LtGreggs · 29/10/2018 20:30

I surprised myself recently - was introduced to a friend-of-a-friend of DH who it turns out is massively wealthy (like, hundreds of £m apparently). Nice enough to look at, really friendly chap, single. I keep finding myself thinking about him Blush - it MUST be driven by the idea of the money.

Meanwhile I am happily married to DH in our perfectly normal average income family home...

Mrsemcgregor · 29/10/2018 20:34

I work fairly closely with the police and there is definitely some eye candy on the force.

I doubt I would look twice if I saw them in their civvies though!

Coniferhedge · 29/10/2018 20:42

Someone I was at school with. Came across him again on social media recently. I’m happily married, he’s happily married, so nothing will ever happen, but I realised I still carry a torch for him 30 years later...

Notfootball · 29/10/2018 21:17

Unbelievably hot bloke at work, he turned up to our first meeting without all the necessary paperwork but in his scrubs - I forgave him.

PersonaNonGarter · 29/10/2018 21:19

All the time. Seriously. And it’s very fleeting, cos I probably won’t fancy them or even recognise them again. I’m very flighty with my interest. Grin

EnidButton · 29/10/2018 21:25

Shirley and Dont It'd take you days to get through all the layers he wears. 22 degrees and Kev is in a puffer jacket, gilet, 2 jumpers and a t-shirt. I dread to think what the underwear situation is like. People have trekked through the Arctic with less weather protection.

owlshooting · 29/10/2018 21:27

A guy I kept seeing on the train two years ago! That was the last time!

gladheart · 29/10/2018 22:33

@Dontfeellikeaskeleton beautiful eyes and an aloof air sounds right up my street!

I've had a 'dry spell', shall we say, for a good few years now. Would love to get the fanny gallops again! What better reason is there to get up for work in the morning?!
