Just that question really!
I'm curious and at 32 weeks, this is feeling like countdown territory.
Birthing stories very welcome too!

On her due date.

Penhaligon · 26/10/2018 21:33

My waters broke at 1.00am when I was 39+2 and he arrived 48 hours later at 39+4.
Took 24 hours after my waters breaking for the contractions to start properly. He was back to back and it bloody hurt to sit down- I felt like there was a bowling ball in my bum. Kneeling and leaning was most comfortable!

Dontbestupidagain · 26/10/2018 21:38

38+2 after a 30 hour labour which started with waters breaking spontaneously in the shower.

40+5, induced due to large baby. He was 4.8kgs, so not that big!

Chasingsquirrels · 26/10/2018 21:42

37+0.
2 hour labour.

Enjoy the last few weeks!

MissingMo · 26/10/2018 21:42

Waters broke at 38+5 and dd came at 39 weeks

ColinsVeryJolly · 26/10/2018 21:43

Both of mine arrived on their due date

QueenofLouisiana · 26/10/2018 21:44

40+6, but my waters had broken 2 days earlier; I was on the countdown towards induction but arrived after hospital in early labour anyway.

In retrospect, I was in labour the night before and just hadn’t realised. 😳

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/10/2018 21:44

39+1 after I foolishly made a 12 hour car journey. 20 hour labour, just gas and air. Wish I could do it again!

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 26/10/2018 21:45

38+3 after a very long latent stage.

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 26/10/2018 21:52

Both of mine were emergency sections in the early hours of 39+1...I'm nothing if not consistent.

One was horrendous, one was the most amazing experience of my life.
Apparently if there is a number 3 I might be able to book an earlier elective.

wtf1981 · 26/10/2018 22:34

36+4...
Induced due to high blood pressure and then a c-section.
He is the best! Good luck x

Iwantaunicorn · 26/10/2018 22:38

36+5 surprise elcs (originally booked for 38+2) due to pre eclampsia with my DTs.

LotsToThinkOf · 26/10/2018 22:41

39+6, back to back and 29 hours. My 2nd was also 39+6 but 7 hours and much easier. I was convinced I was going to go overdue each time.

FifiLeBoo · 26/10/2018 22:44

12 days early, spontaneous labour 7 hours start to finish. I did need a drip though as the contractions slowed almost to a stop 4 hours in.

Dc 2 I went 1 week over, I had some issues and they wouldn't let me go further than that. I was induced and was in labour for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Dc 3 spontaneous labour at 41+2 labour was just over an hour.

Dc 4 again spontaneous labour and the quickest at 40 minutes.

Novasglow · 26/10/2018 22:47

41+1

LizzieBennettDarcy · 26/10/2018 22:50

41+6. Fed up was an understatement.

MotherWol · 26/10/2018 22:58

42+2, after an EMCS (deep transverse arrest). DD just really didn’t want to come out. She still likes a lie-in now Wink

MyKingdomForBrie · 26/10/2018 23:11

40+2, woke up to gentle contractions in the morning, went into hospital around five when contractions were about 3 minutes apart and fairly painful, dd was born in the water about three hours later. Back to back and intensely painful. I'm very envious of the lady for whom toothache is worse as that was not my experience! Worth it though.

Ds was absurdly quick, they'd only just filled the pool, i got in and he arrived 20 minutes later. I felt a bit bad that they had to clean a whole pool/room for my 20 minute visit!

universe00 · 26/10/2018 23:11

41+2

grace7 · 26/10/2018 23:17

Exactly 41 weeks. About six hours later baby was here!

Pipnik · 26/10/2018 23:32

42+2 induction

DramaAlpaca · 26/10/2018 23:32

39+2

BITCAT · 26/10/2018 23:37

40+11. Spontaneous labour, quick for a first.

PickAChew · 26/10/2018 23:39

Forcibly evicted at 40+16. A habit he's carried into his teens.
