If you are eating a roast dinner what part do you eat first?

I know this is completely random but it occurred to me earlier that whenever I have a roast dinner I always start by eating the vegetables. Dp will eat some meat first, same as dd. Just wondered if anyone else always eats a particular part first ?

Potatoes probably, mash potato slathered in gravy ❤️❤️ but then again I love a bit of everything on my fork

Bit of everything, my DH always leaves the meat/protein until last, whatever meal he's eating, and it just really irritates me. Irrational I know but it reminds me of a toddler pushing their food round the plate Grin.

Veg first, but with a bit of meat thrown in every so often as a teaser of what is to come.

Can't mix two things in the same forkfull apart from:
gravy (can be on everything anything),
Potato and cabbage can mix,
Meat and Yorkshires can mix.

Has to be a different thing with each mouthfull, can't be doing with the same taste in two consecutive mouthfulls. The favourites, meat and roasted parsnips, the majority of those are kept for last. They can be eaten in consecutive mouthfulls or alternated, whichever I feel like with each forkfull.

Dh is different, generally finishes each item one at a time and he has different favourites to leave till last.
