Apparently I've been on it 60 hours! Shock

Kind of wishing I could go back to not knowing before the latest software upgrade ...

scrivette · 13/10/2018 20:41

30 hours, mostly Mumsnet and Facebook Shock

DeadButDelicious · 13/10/2018 20:41

32 hours 35 mins. I like the new screen time feature, I've blocked all social media apps between the hours of 9am and 7pm which means I use my phone much less during the day so the vast majority of that has been in the evening whilst DD is in bed, so whilst not brilliant I'm not overly worried. Definitely want to reduce it a bit more though.

Arcadia · 13/10/2018 20:41

24h44mins which is bad but in my defence I have maps on driving to and from work to check for traffic!!

DeaflySilence · 13/10/2018 20:41

Excluding purely work calls, significantly less than one hour in the last two weeks.

DemocracyDiesInDarkness · 13/10/2018 20:42

24 hours, with average 85 picks up a day.

Fuck. That's quite disturbing.

happydaysrhere · 13/10/2018 20:43

3hr 46min

happydaysrhere · 13/10/2018 20:45

Looked at today the weeks is 20 hr 26 mins Shock

AnotherPidgey · 13/10/2018 20:45

I dread to think, I've spent a lot of time loafing around with a heavy cold.

yorkshirepud44 · 13/10/2018 20:45

It's the best update addition ever. I've linked the dcs in and have massively restricted their screen time. It just cuts out after 30 mins on school days.

There was massive kick off to start with but 2 weeks on they're getting used to it.

If you haven't already done this I really can't recommend it highly enough. You can see exactly what they're doing and authorise extra time on the apps you're happy for them to be on. 👍🏻

Instacrumb · 13/10/2018 20:45

For android users yourhour app is brilliant, let's you set daily amount on apps and has a floating clock to show how long you've spent on a particular app that day.

happydaysrhere · 13/10/2018 20:46

I'm on Mumsnet the most at 11hr 5 mins Shock

Rockbird · 13/10/2018 20:50

On average I pick up my phone 58 times per day!

KPjoenix · 13/10/2018 22:31

56hrs.....BUT I do my yoga videos on it and FaceTime...clutches at straws

TeaByTheSeaside · 13/10/2018 23:12

19hrs 31 and of that it was mostly MN at 8hrs 07.

TeaByTheSeaside · 13/10/2018 23:13

And an average of 34 pick ups a day.

Yesitwasmethistime · 13/10/2018 23:18

38hrs 58mins 😮 (13hr 48 Mins of that on Mumsnet 😮)

Is there any way you can limit specific apps? I did a one hour per day social media limit which limits facebook, WhatsApp, twitter etc but I need WhatsApp to be on all the time.

Does anyone know how I remover WhatsApp from the social media limit without doing it each day?

Yesitwasmethistime · 13/10/2018 23:19

72 pickups per day 😬

Yesitwasmethistime · 13/10/2018 23:30

Just found the option to add WhatsApp to “always allowed” section in case anyone is wondering.

MintedLamb · 13/10/2018 23:35

Fucking hell, 66 hours. Pick ups 166 per day!! That's obscene. I've massively limited all my apps (May have made mumsnet time today longer to ease myself in.
I'm actually disgusted with that amount of time. I should be spending it with my children.
If I remember I'll come back next week and hopefully update with a much smaller figure.

PrivateParkin · 13/10/2018 23:36

Thanks @Instacrumb was about to ask about Android! Am quite scared of what this might reveal...

tinytemper66 · 13/10/2018 23:55

60 and nearly 20 of them on MN!🤦🏻‍♀️
In my defence I have a broken leg and am off work!

MrsGollach · 13/10/2018 23:58

I guess probably an hour. But that includes a long conversation with a friend.

C0untDucku1a · 14/10/2018 00:03

Following to remind me to download this update!

AngeloMysterioso · 14/10/2018 00:15

Less than 7 hours. 15 pickups per day.

That can’t be right, I thought it’d be so much more!

Rebecca36 · 14/10/2018 00:30

Not many.
Nobody loves me :-(.
