Kevin McCloud's voice.
Used to be in love with Grand Designs, over and over. Watched EVERY episode.
Now - I can't bear to listen (DH still watching them and feeling the love).
Sorry Kevin - it's me not you!
This thread isn't about lovely Kevin btw! Just an example :)
Yours?

Yes, i do not want to eat off a plank! And i don't want the chips in a separate cute container. I want them on the normal plate, with my normal dinner.

All social media annoys me and all mobile phones. Obviously I have one but really what's wrong with not knowing where I am for a few hours, i haven't run away.

Sex, i can't even be bothered to have it with myself.

Anything that isn't extremely comfortable no sexy, scratchy underwear or heels.

Long phone calls, hurry up!

PatchworkElmer · 02/10/2018 23:18

Most forms of potato- a hangover from an HG pregnancy, and a real shame because I loved jacket potatoes!

youngestisapsycho · 02/10/2018 23:20

I’m with amymel2016.... Holly Willoughby! She gets right on my nerves nowadays.

Beamur · 02/10/2018 23:21

Any blog or comment that involves "gin".

All "mummy bloggers" that glamorise drinking at 2 in the afternoon while the toddler is in the sandpit.

While we're at it, gin with anything other than lime or lemon in it - you can shove your sprig of rosemary up your arse.

northernruth · 02/10/2018 23:23

This is quite cathartic actually

paddlingwhenIshouldbeworking · 02/10/2018 23:24

Wonder how old we all are.

I'm late 40s. 15 years ago life was happily punctuated by high heels, drinking, long phone calls, still some dancing, celeb & reality crap, getting in touch with friends on FB.

Now none of that features unless I'm pissed off by being confronted by any of it (little bit of very occasional heavy drinking excluded).

Are these things getting old and tired or am I?

Thighofrelief · 02/10/2018 23:25

Ruth yes, i disapprove, hook bosom and clutch pearls re blogs glamorising mum drinking. I mean do it if you want but don't blog!

northernruth · 02/10/2018 23:26

I'm 51. I was fed up with going out and listening to shit music and being felt up so I set up an early doors disco at the local British Legion. it's ace. Think Nick Hornby's High Fidelity

Halfling · 02/10/2018 23:26

Grocery shopping in store
Royal family

Cheerymom · 02/10/2018 23:26

Talking without purpose on the phone.
Night buses.
Loud bars, groups in restaurants, work do ( especially at christmas).
Blow jobs.

Thighofrelief · 02/10/2018 23:27

Hairs on my chin very much annoy me and the only bit of hair removal I will do.

Thighofrelief · 02/10/2018 23:29

If your chips are in a mini fryer people wrongly assume they are communal. They are not.

dysongirl · 02/10/2018 23:37

Young children making noise drive me mad lol
15 years ago I too had young children and they were no way as noisy as the kid's of today
Or maybe that's me showing my age !! lol

Aldilogue · 02/10/2018 23:43

Ladydepp · 02/10/2018 23:59

Celebrities and gossip - so boring.
The Royal Family - utterly pointless
The Labour Party - first time I’ve had no idea who to vote for
Reality tv apart from SCD and Bake off
Getting hammered - hangover is such a waste of time
Loud music
Violence against women in books and tv/film - enough now
Facials - boring and expensive
McDonalds - used to enjoy but now tastes like plastic

Ladydepp · 03/10/2018 00:00

YYY to high heels!

teaandtoast · 03/10/2018 00:06

Travel - meh.
Most TV.

paddlingwhenIshouldbeworking · 03/10/2018 00:09

Think I can agree with just about everything on the thread now.

(Except McDonalds, has last through the university, graduate years, and the annoying fussy child years and still today, it was a little slice of heaven on an otherwise crappy day).

Thighofrelief · 03/10/2018 00:12

Yy to travel - if i can't drive there in 3 hours in my own car I'm not going.

Invitations - i wish you well but please don't make me attend

paddlingwhenIshouldbeworking · 03/10/2018 00:23

On trend anything

Gardai · 03/10/2018 07:34

Music in shops
People in general

maddiemookins16mum · 03/10/2018 07:40

People at work who waltz in with their coffee from Starbucks/Costa etc.....(they’re usually late too). We have a perfectly decent kitchen, kettle, free tea, naice coffee, milk etc (even a proper coffee maker with capsules). I’m not sure why it irritates me (I blame the Menopause as everythin irritates me at present tbf).

CutesyUserName · 03/10/2018 07:55

Martin Freeman.
The overuse by entitled twats of 'disrespecting'.
People who use OCD to explain away their fussiness, who wear it as a badge of honour (not those suffering from the real, debilitating illness).
People who think you can think away cancer simply by being positive.
People who attention seek on FB but think the rest of us are too stupid to see it for what it is (although quite a few are, 'Are you alright, hun?')
People who tell you you are being brave when suffering from a serious illness and just getting on with it. What the fuck are we supposed to do?

Hmm, quite a lot of people-related rage there Grin.
