Anyone else listening to Theresa May on the Today programme? She’s really not fit is she?

She’s talking absolute nonsense and just keeps repeating it.

The tory Party is arguing over brexit.

We should definalty follow Labour Party lead. They are united on brexit and in total alignment.

@GhostofFrankGrimes

You think that’s worse than what is going on in some European countries right now? If you do, that’s fine but I just find it astonishing. I agree that the UK is turning more right wing. I’m not surprised. To try and suggest people would want to stay in European countries because the UK is seen as extreme right wing (the other poster who I originally replied to said this, not you) I think is absurd and a ridiculous comment to make. I can only think they’re rather sheltered.

MissionItsImpossible - TBH I don’t really understand your question. “Have you been non white...” doesn’t make any sense to m.

Ok... not really sure how to make it any clearer. Have you been a non-white person and travelled around Europe? I suppose I should have said “Are you a person who is not white and travelled around Europe”? Or even “Have you travelled around Europe as, or with, a person who isn’t white”?

I am an immigrant. I have experienced plenty of prejudice.

MissionItsPossible · 03/10/2018 19:47

You didn’t answer my question...

user1499173618 · 03/10/2018 19:51

I live in the EU. We are a mixed race family. Plenty of prejudice, but none as awful as in the U.K.

MissionItsPossible · 03/10/2018 19:57

What country within the EU do you live in? Have you travelled around as a mixed race family within countries of the EU? Where did you go in the UK that you had more prejudice shown towards you than countries in Europe?

I simply don’t believe you.

MissionItsPossible · 03/10/2018 19:59

Based from many personal experiences I should add.

LARLARLAND · 03/10/2018 20:02

I blame the people who voted Tory. Corbyn would never have let the referendum happen.

user1499173618 · 03/10/2018 21:04

I’ve lived in several countries and we travel all the time - 10-15 trips a year.

MissionItsPossible · 03/10/2018 21:11

I find your stilted replies somewhat telling: You’re not answering my questions.

Let’s try a new one: What racial mix is your family made up of?

user1499173618 · 04/10/2018 11:47

I don’t have to answer your questions! This is an Internet forum, not a police interrogation or a court of law 😎

In the UK there is greater tolerance of outward expressions of cultural and religious difference than in many EU countries, where cultural and religious difference is expected to be reserved for the private sphere.

Thought the thread was to be about the PM?

BlueEyeshadow · 04/10/2018 15:30

Well, a lot of the current mess is due to her inability to tell the difference between principle and pig-headedness.

Frazzled2207 · 04/10/2018 17:36

I think she's useless but in a hopeless and impossible position. Nobody could do a good job in this scenario.

I personally blame Cameron for all of it. He was clever enough to realise he couldn't possibly make a success of Brexit so ran for the hills as soon as he realised what he'd done Hmm
