I ordered 2 pairs of pyjamas from M&S. I got one pair and something else that is not pyjamas. Guess what it is?

Is there some poor little 5 yr old somewhere looking sadly at a pair of middle-aged lady pyjamas at this very moment?

ApolloandDaphne · 28/09/2018 13:24

Indeed BlackAmericannosugar (also my coffee order). I feel sorry for the small child who has my size 16/18 pyjamas. They did have pink clouds on them but I don't think they will be any match for a Mary Poppins nightie.

I want one. Is it cotton and does it come in groan-up sizes?

SD1978 · 28/09/2018 13:31

So they took your age and sent a nightdress using that. Novel approach 😂

SlimDogMillionaire · 28/09/2018 13:31

Dildo

ApolloandDaphne · 28/09/2018 13:35

I'm sat at my work desk chuckling to myself at the thought of that Grin

Frustratedfrenchie · 28/09/2018 13:46

I ordered a pair of shoes from Next and it was an odd pair! Not even remotely alike!

ApolloandDaphne · 28/09/2018 13:49

The nightie cost 50p more than the pyjamas so I am quids in there!

Tesco once substituted the fresh whole chicken I'd ordered and sent a chocolate easter egg as the substitute...

wafflyversatile · 28/09/2018 13:54

I can't see the photo. :(

ApolloandDaphne · 28/09/2018 14:01

Waffly. You are missing a pale lilac Mary Poppins nightie in age 5-6!

My little girl would be thrilled to have one of those! Very snazzy! She's a massive MP fan. That's me off to M&S this afternoon! Grin

Halfahunnerstillastunner · 28/09/2018 14:10

I would also like one for this fat fifty year old Grin wonder if it would miraculously transform me into the calm saintly mother I always thought I would be ? Wink

ErrolTheDragon · 28/09/2018 14:10

Practically perfect in every way except for it being completely the wrong item.Grin

shearwater · 28/09/2018 14:16

My worst experience with Next was when they sent me a bikini - but just the top- they do sell separates but this was a set. I phoned customer services to ask if they could send the bottoms, but it was now out of stock. I did get a refund, but the worst thing was, the top fitted perfectly and I couldn't find anything else like it anywhere.

flapjackfairy · 28/09/2018 14:16

Well not quite quids. Half a quid admitedky. Honestly that is hilarious !

olderthanyouthink · 28/09/2018 14:18

My dad was given little girls (like 3-4yo) knickers by an old NDN before.

Good luck returning it, i ordered shorts from h&m and they sent the wrong ones and they were too big. Wouldn't refund me because I didn't have a receipt (well duh, I never ordered them!) & couldn't exchange because they were a different price to the ones I wanted. I gave them to my mum in the end.

FusionChefGeoff · 28/09/2018 14:25

I want a Mary Poppins nightie!!!!!!

665TheNeighbourOfTheBeast · 28/09/2018 14:27

I sent off for a sports glasses cord from an eBay seller in China. I got sent a joke dog poo.

ApolloandDaphne · 28/09/2018 14:27

MaryBoBary · 28/09/2018 15:35

@Frustratedfrenchie my MIl once bought a pair of slippers, only to get home and find they were 2 left feet 😂 maybe they had heard about her dancing abilities...

HildaZelda · 28/09/2018 16:17

My friend once ordered 10 packets of Haribo fizzy sweets in a Tesco delivery for her DD's upcoming birthday party.
They didn't have them, so substituted them with 10 tubes of effervescent Berocca tablets!
