Was I wrong to whip my top off in the carpark?

I'd been for a very wet run in the rain. When I got back to the car, (at a park/beauty spot) I stood by the boot, back to the public, whipped of my wet top and put a dry sweatshirt on. Not as quick as I could have been maybe as cold wet fingers weren't working properly but a few seconds.

Fwiw, Underneath, I was wearing a very robust M&S sports bra and I don't have much to see anyway!

It wouldn't bother me even if you didn't have a bra on.

It' snot like you were parading around flashing your tits

CloudCaptain · 23/09/2018 11:34

It's fine. Do it all the time. A lot of people run/ workout only in a sports bra.
Some prudes about.

PenelopeFlintstone · 23/09/2018 11:35

YWNBU at all.

Cutietips · 23/09/2018 11:38

It’s ridiculous. This happened in a professional tennis match recently. The woman got sanctioned at the time. There was uproar afterwards and the professional body had to apologise to the player concerned.

Who actually stuck their nose in? Was it a stranger, or someone you knew. Either way I’d go mad but if it was someone I knew, I’d make my feelings very clear to them.

Fadingmemory · 23/09/2018 11:40

If your observers (voyeurs?) were that bothered they should have looked the other way. How ridiculous of them. They were totally OTT & ridiculous. Wonder if they do the same with bikini wearers on the beach. Carry on!

FermatsTheorem · 23/09/2018 11:41

What a numpty (the person ranting at you, not you, obviously).

I've done the same myself. In fact I've also changed trousers in car parks near beauty spots.

And unless you want your car sopping wet and steamy, it makes far more sense to take the wet stuff off outside, bag it and stuff it in the boot till you get home.

Had someone ranted at me i would have full on mooned them

DunkerOfSussex · 23/09/2018 11:43

Eh? People run in sports bras.

SleepFreeZone · 23/09/2018 11:45

Who ranted at you?

Pfaffingly · 23/09/2018 11:46

Completely fine, I planned to do the same earlier I just didn't need to as we didn't get as wet as anticipated.

Lovemusic33 · 23/09/2018 11:47

I always do this, always Cary spare clothes and often change by my boot. I don’t care what people think. You see far worse on a beach 🤣

Squeegle · 23/09/2018 11:47

Who did the ranting? Someone you know?

DisplayPurposesOnly · 23/09/2018 11:47

I get changed in car parks all the time (rarely sports-related). I'd tell them to jog on.

MulticolourMophead · 23/09/2018 11:48

Confused Those sports bras cover up more than a bikini does anyway!

Bestseller · 23/09/2018 11:48

It was a man with a dog, no one I know

Pfaffingly · 23/09/2018 11:48

Did you have a good run though op? Don't let the rant stop you enjoying that nice feeling that you get post run!

You are wrong to start a thread with an interesting title but utterly boring content

Squeegle · 23/09/2018 11:52

Men would change without a second thought and no one would dare challenge them either.

Ignore the absolute fuckwit OP.

AssassinatedBeauty · 23/09/2018 12:02

That sort of man probably has issues with women generally. He was absolutely in the wrong, please don't let his behaviour put you off.
