What are your most flavoursome and delicious hearty soup recipes?

I need to start making my own soup. Have been living off it recently (fresh soups from chilled aisle) and they're nice but expensive and I'm sure my own would be better. I do make a great chilli soup but I need more options.

Particularly keen on anything hot and spicy, or extremely hearty, comforting chicken soups, etc. Or a really nice tomato and basil.

Basically can you inspire me with amazing soup recipes

Also, can I make soup in my slow cooker? With a view to freezing portions for later use?

I make tons of soup this book is amazing.

I fry onion , celery, garlic and carrot.

After that I either go down the tomato and herb based route, or the chilli and coconut route, or the "cream of" this or that route. Or a curry spices route.

What's added then is usually what's in the fridge which needs using (veg or chicken or meat or a mixture).

If I'm very hungry I might add pulses or lentils. Especially when I'm trying to lose weight! (When I ditch other carbs) . If no pulses are used, I might use a potato for thickening or noodles/pasta. Or not.
