Does anyone here want to watch Eugenie's wedding on tv?

So the BBC don't want the costs of showing it because they think it'll be a ratings flop. I can kind of see where they're coming from. I'm only a little bit interested. I'd like to see what her & her sister wear & maybe see a few guests but that's it. Anyone else?

I’m as interested in it as I am in the others - in that I’d watch the arrivals for the outfits. It’ll not be much longer before it’s all royal funerals for a while after all.

Nquartz · 16/09/2018 19:18

No interest whatsoever & I wouldn't watch on principle

Lauren0rder · 16/09/2018 19:18

I like seeing the dress but that’s it......oh and I would like to see what Beatrice is wearing but that’s it.

TomHardysNextWife · 16/09/2018 19:20

There is going to be only a tiny spatter of interest, mainly to see what Kate and Meghan will be wearing, let's be honest. Certainly not the Bride or the Mother of the Bride Grin. It would be wrong to televise it when Zara Tindall or Peter Phillips had quiet weddings, and I don't think Prince Edward's wedding was televised either............

anniepanniepears · 16/09/2018 19:23

Yeah I would watch.. But probably working

KenAdams · 16/09/2018 19:23

So not a BBC occasion. Maybe Channel 5 would be interested.

Annandale · 16/09/2018 19:23

Definitely not.

Redglitter · 16/09/2018 19:24

I wouldn't. I must admit to watching far more of William & Kate's than expected. I didn't watch any of Harry's but had a look online to see the outfits. Will probably do the same with Eugenies

keepingbees · 16/09/2018 19:24

I'd watch it, only because I like weddings and like to see what everyone's wearing. That said, I'm not interested in her as a person and wouldn't be bothered if I missed it.

WhatIsThisTomfoolery · 16/09/2018 19:26

Where have the BBC said this? Is there a link?

Aragog · 16/09/2018 19:26

If it was on, and there wasn't anything else I was wanting to watch, I'd probably turn it on and have a look. But I like weddings, and like to see what they're all wearing. To be fair, if it was anybody's wedding on TV I'd probably do the same.

QueenDoria · 16/09/2018 19:28

Obviously I would...

Yellowsunredroses · 16/09/2018 19:33

I’d watch it. But I do think Andrew has a massive chip on his shoulder

Trenzalor · 16/09/2018 19:34

Nope.

PodgeBod · 16/09/2018 19:34

No, I wouldn't and I'm quite interested in the Royals and watched all of Will and Harry's. I will however look at pictures on the internet after.

Sallygoroundthemoon · 16/09/2018 19:46

Nope.

MorningsEleven · 16/09/2018 19:46

I'd watch it, Harry and Meghan's was the best people watching opportunity ever. With Fergie at the helm, it'll blow the roof off!

Littlelilylily · 16/09/2018 19:48

Only for Fergie

Wittow · 16/09/2018 19:49

I'm incensed at how much money it's costing the taxpayer. Disgusting. Wouldn't cross the road to watch it.

PawneeParksDept · 16/09/2018 19:50

I'm sure Edwards was televised I remember watching it Confused

I didn't expect it to be televised as Peter and Zara weren't

It is a bit off that she wants this as a non working royal and so much of the plan echoes Harry and Meghan. It has to be Andrew and I feel for her if he's pushing this and she doesn't want it at all and it may all fall flat for her and look second rate, particularly if it's an ITV only showing, which is somehow worse than not being shown at all

Everytimeref · 16/09/2018 19:51

No thanks.

KennDodd · 16/09/2018 19:53

I can't believe it's even on TV?

LemonysSnicket · 16/09/2018 19:54

We'll see what she wears in the mags. I don't give a shit about watching it

SinglePringle · 16/09/2018 19:54

Not a fucking chance. Exceptionally privileged young woman with a exaggerated concept of her ‘importance’ thinks people give a shiney shite about her marriage to a chinless wonder?!

No. No. No.

Redyoyo · 16/09/2018 19:54

I'd maybe watch a wee bit of folks arriving and them coming out but I've no interest in watching a service, a bit like the Oscars really.
