I'm doing Nana's magic soup off the Tesco advert with a few variations. Will have some for the freezer and some for lunch tomorrow.

Lemon and thyme chicken crown in the oven. Boiled potatoes, carrots and broccoli.

It's been a tough day parenting so hoping everyone tucks in with no moaning!

Love a Sunday afternoon chopping and cooking. What's everyone else having?

We had a fairly big cooked breakfast with Linda mcartneys veggie sausages- very nice!

Will be cooking dinner in an hour or so. Salmon teriyaki stir fry.

Myusernameisunique · 16/09/2018 18:01

Hubby's cooking a tapas feast! We have leftover paella from yesterday and he's making patatas bravas (Canarian style), Spanish garlic mushrooms, Spanish tortilla, Gambas Al ajillo, calamares, homemade garlic bread and some other lovely stuff I don't know about!

DoubleLottchen · 16/09/2018 18:02

Roast lamb, roast potatoes, roast onions, runner beans and peas, cooked in a team effort between me and DH, followed by chocolate orange pudding, cooked by DD under supervision from me. Pudding was supposed to have ice cream on the side, but turns out there isn't any in the freezer, so will have to serve it with greek yoghurt instead.

Bimgy85 · 16/09/2018 18:15

Chicken supreme, red onions mushrooms chicken, milk, peppers, sweet potato.

motortroll · 16/09/2018 18:17

I am down to last few ingredients so we have chile con carne with turkey mince done in slow cooker. I made chapattis cos my kids don't eat rice. Served with broccoli, baby corn and carrots and cabbage I swiped from my dads veg patch today!!

gussiefox · 16/09/2018 18:18

I am cooking a roast chicken dinner just for me. OH is staying with his 90yr old mum who has been unwell. He tells me he is cooking a roast chicken dinner for them. He has NEVER cooked a roast dinner in his life. Could be interesting Grin

weegiemum · 16/09/2018 18:23

Dd1 is cooking the biggest pan of paella ever. It tastes great so far. I am relaxing with a glass of wine!!

thinkofablinkingnamewoman · 16/09/2018 18:30

Just made lime curd to use up some
sad looking limes at the bottom of the fruit bowl.
We're having pasta with sausage meatballs and chilli later. We were supposed to be having roast chicken but it's not completely defrosted so will have to do it in a rush after work. I've made the stuffing though.

Another vote for the bean cobbler recipe please peoplemaynoticeus !

I love the 'Nan's Magic Soup' advert, it's so heartwarming.

Roast lamb, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds, three veg. Lamb is in oven - all garlic'd and rosemary'd with some red wine. Smells delicious.

We're doing it between us.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/09/2018 18:33

Mushroom and Stilton pie. Have made blueberry pies with the leftover pastry too, so we're having a complete pastry-fest.

Pork chop a big one to have with spinach. I'm low carbing😩 craving bananas

Arrowfanatic · 16/09/2018 18:37

I did fajitas for the kids but used chicken dippers rather than chicken breasts as strangely they won't eat it that way.

No idea for dh and I, probably crisps, wine and chocolate Grin.

delphguelph · 16/09/2018 18:41
