Five finger death punches version of Gone away is heart breaking.
The video to it is even sadder!

Love Letters by Ketty Lester is beautiful and Back 2 Good by Matchbox Twenty too.

A slightly positive break up song is Me and My Sister The Moon by Miranda Sykes and Rex Preston.

And when you're ready to shout and jump up and down Frank Turner, Photosynthesis

The song I mentioned ' Gone Away is both catchy and heartbreaking at the same time. I do have to blink a lot when i see the video not to get a tear!

The saddest song that I have ever seen performed was Jesus Alone by Nick Cave and the Bad seeds. It was the opening night of their tour in Hobart. After the recent events that the NC and his family had been through plus it was the first night of touring in 3 years I think it was the crowd didn't know what to expect.
You could have heard a pin drop from the audience it was that quiet.

I'm sorry to hear this OP.

Nick Cave's The Weeping Song is a good one for sobbing along to. As the lyrics say ...

This is a weeping song
A song in which to weep
While we rock ourselves to sleep
This is a weeping song
But I won’t be weeping long
