Check out the online shopping baskets of your fellow Mumsnetters (pun intended) and find out which weird and wonderful items they've been snapping up this month.

And, if you want to be first to know about the next cult product, you can sign up to our Swears By and Moneysaver newsletters here.

All shopping data is anonymised and in no way connected to any user information.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

Good Housekeeping subscription, £9.99 for six months (usually £27)]]

Plus, you’ll receive a free copy of the new Good Housekeeping Christmas cookbook (worth £18.99) with your subscription.

@Ellapaella

The next coatigan link takes you to a pair of sandals.

Hi @Ellapaella, unfortunately you can’t link to just one product on the Next website - the coatigan is the second item on the page linked above. The 29p Snitch bracelet is now sold out, but you can get a similar one here for £1.59.

@GreyPJs

How do you know what’s in the shopping baskets of MNers? Confused

Hello @GreyPJs, MNHQ gets anonymized shopping information through our affiliate tracking technology. We receive a report on which products have been bought by Mumsnetters, and how many, but not who actually bought them.

@EmpressAdultHumanFemale yesGrin

I’ve also bought lots of food from shops that aren’t Ocado.

I've been buying from a lot of shops that aren't Ocado too. And rediscovered BirdsEye waffles!

Up goes Ghostery again.

Why would you want to know what we are buying, MNHQ? How do you make money out of it?

I understood that to mean that if someone clicks on one of MN's affiliate links & then buys something, they can profit from that & they also have stats for purchases via those links, which would make sense because then they know how effective the links are. Not that they see what we're buying online in general. Is that right, AliceMN?

AliceDMumsnet · 09/10/2018 12:13

Yes, @EmpressAHF, that's a good summary. We only get stats when an affiliate link has been clicked. Thanks!
