What are the chances anyone could identify this song?

I have an ear worm and would love to look up the song on Spotify but I can't place it.

I think it's a Mexican song. Probably 20-30 + years old. It's sung in Spanish. I don't remember the words. It's got something like bell trilling or a cow bell being played in it. The rythm is upbeat and the words go to the rythm of da da da da da... da da da ... da da da da da... da da da.

Anyone have any ideas?

Doesn’t Shazam let you sing a tune and it identifies the song?

Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass - Spanish Flea?

RiverTam · 11/09/2018 20:57

El Matador by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs?

Chuggachuggatoottoot · 11/09/2018 20:59

It's not the one covered by Jennifer Lopez is it?

PuntCuffin · 11/09/2018 21:01

Can’t be Spanish Flea, it has no lyrics.

dudsville · 11/09/2018 21:01

Sorry I'm so slow. It's not Spanish flea or El matador. I'll check out your link now Shirley and, of course! Shaman! Can't do it from my crap old phone but I can do this tomorrow if need be.

Kaoma Lambada?

Chuggachuggatoottoot · 11/09/2018 21:03

Kaoma. Lambada

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 11/09/2018 21:04

Although no cow bell.

ShirleyPhallus · 11/09/2018 21:05

Oh yes, the one that J-Lo covered where I always used to sing “par-acetamol para-cetamol” as I genuinely thought they were the lyrics

dudsville · 11/09/2018 21:09

It's not kaoma. I appreciate all of your suggestions (it's not macaroni! Isn't that the silt song Al Gore danced to?). I fear until I recall more or try shazam tomorrow it's a bit of a wild goose chase.

Samba de Orpheus?

UpstartCrow · 11/09/2018 21:13

You can play a tune and identify it with Musipedia;

PuntCuffin · 11/09/2018 21:14

Male or female vocalist?

If you find it, you have to come back!! I am going down all sorts of YouTube wormholes listening to tunes I haven’t heard in years.

dudsville · 11/09/2018 21:15

It's not samba de orpheus.

It's male vocals, not female.

I think I'll give up for now!
