Hi everyone - I'm desperately hoping that others can see the very faint line that I think I see?

I'm only five days after a 5-day blast transfer, so it's super early and I'll test again tomorrow morning, but could it be? Oh please, please let it be . . .

Congratulations!! Hope it goes well for you.

RedPandaFluff · 11/09/2018 09:56

Thank you everyone - I'm giddy with excitement but just trying to work and interact with colleagues as normal, it's mad!

I am cautious too though - it's such early days. But maybe . . . just maybe . . . Smile

Everything crossed for you @RedPandaFluff. Thanks

MyBrexitUnicornDied · 11/09/2018 11:19

Looking good red so pleased for you.

Please don’t do what I did with my ds. I peed on about 5 First responses in one week and panicked that the line didn’t get any darker. Total waste of money too.

That’s a dark a line as I ever got, ds is 4 now.

Very best of luck.

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 11/09/2018 14:17

How exciting! Flowers

Fingers crossed all goes well Smile

RedPandaFluff · 11/09/2018 14:37

Oh that's good to know, MyBrexitUnicornDied - I was fully expecting the line to get darker and darker over the next few days so I'll bear in mind that it might not.

I've already done three FRERs and I have six more, so I'll do those over the next few days and then the Clearblue Digital on Saturday to spell it out to DH. Don't worry, I'll stop posting photos on here, though Grin

Aw OP how lovely. I could see a line on your first test and my eyes are bad! But then saw your latest test and wow that's amazing!

Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Flowers

ALemonyPea · 11/09/2018 22:57

Oh that’s a definite positive. How exciting for you. Fingers and toes crossed for a smooth pregnancy. 💐

FoxFoxSierra · 11/09/2018 23:14

I can see the lines on all the earlier ones and the last one is darker than my test with dc1 when my period was a week late! Congratulations! Wishing you an easy and uneventful pregnancy 😁

FoxFoxSierra · 11/09/2018 23:15

That wasn't supposed to be a grimace btw!

Hi everyone - I just wanted to update anyone who was kind enough to respond in this thread, and who might still be interested in the outcome.

Official test day is tomorrow (14 days after a 5 day old embryo was transferred, which would make that 19 days after fertilisation in a non-IVF cycle). I've been testing like a maniac and got some lovely strong positives, including digitals, so I thought that was all pretty conclusive.

Sadly the test lines have been getting fainter since Saturday - Sunday's were light, and I've attached one from today below. So I think it's a chemical pregnancy.

My clinic is abroad so they don't do blood tests; my strategy is to do a final digital on Wednesday morning and if it's a negative, start planning our next cycle.

I'm devastated - I thought this was it Sad

Thanks again for all the support and best wishes though - I was floating on air for a while!

I’m sorry to hear that. Would your local EPU offer you a blood test or scan? You might need your GP to refer you.

fourpawswhite · 17/09/2018 19:02

I agree OP. See if you can get a blood test. I'm sure I've read before about this happening and not meaning anything conclusive. Lots of reasons they can be lighter. Different batch, urine strength, type, time of day, amount of fluid you have had etc etc.

Shallishanti123 · 17/09/2018 19:09

See your gp. Fingers crossed for you.

HavelockVetinari · 17/09/2018 19:45

Ah that sucks Sad

Been there, it's horrible. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way Flowers

FoodGloriousFud · 17/09/2018 19:56

Another sending positive thoughts your way x

Mumberjack · 17/09/2018 21:08

Lots of reasons why line may be faint - in my experience it was always ‘a line is a line’...I have everything crossed for you and hope it’s good news tomorrow.
I second the advice on going to EPU and requesting a blood test in case there’s any ambiguity though Flowers

bigglewig · 17/09/2018 21:24

I agree with previous poster! You're so early on, get a proper blood test. I reallly hope it's positive news for you.

wonderwoo · 18/09/2018 10:20

OP I really hope this is still it for you. Have my fingers crossed. I cannot imagine how hard this wait is for you. Flowers

RedPandaFluff · 19/09/2018 06:30

Looks like a chemical pregnancy - disappearing lines and a stark "Not Pregnant" on a digital this morning.

I'm devastated - our dream almost came true; we were so happy Sad

Time to book a holiday, go on a diet, and plan cycle #3.

Thanks again for all your support while I've been on this rollercoaster x
